Scored the Grievous Fighter and Fett Evolutions pack. Was going to put off gettting this stuff but given how fast the ROTS 2008 wave went, figured might as well since each was the last once on the shelf.

Nice score. I'm still looking for the TFU wave.

For those interested, the Shadow Trooper exclusive from Jedicon is now up @ shop.starwars.com for 16.99 a piece. Just picked up two of them.

I must admit that I'm very impressed with the facial sculpt of the Order 66 emperor. I like the Tsu Choi as well....nice little figure.

I've never really cared for the Star Wars figures in generalmost of the time they rarely look like their actors. I think the only company to really nail down their actors looks is Sideshow. Hell the Star Trek figures look more like their actor counter parts than the Star Wars figures do.

I would argue that the unleashed figures were fairly close to their actors. It's a shame that we'll never see them again.

I'll be the first to admit that Hasbro is really hit-or-miss with the likenesses. When it comes to the actors, more often than not miss. However, they occasionally hit one out of the ballpark. Also, the likenesses of aliens, troops and the like are usually dead on balls accurate. Most of the figures I posted above have decent to outstanding likenesses for the scale of figures. With all the added articulation nowadays, they're also a lot of fun.

Atriculation with some of the figures has been a problem for me, as in too much.

I remember 1 Secura figure that couldn't stand up because of the ball joints in her ankles...

I know what you mean, they can be a bitch. I'm particularly annoyed by Episode III Obi-Wan's skinny legs. They're pretty loose down to the articulated ankles and the new one even has jointed hips which can make keeping him upright without a stand a pain in the balls.

I disagree on the current run of Hasbro figgas. Back in 2004, (and continued for 2006 & 2007) Hasbro introduced a "high-end" $9.99 line called the Vintage Collection featuring soft goods and intricately sculpted, super-articulated new molds. For the 2007 line Hasbro started implementing the Vintage Collection features into it's regular line. Another awesome aspect of The Anniversary Collection was the McQuarrie subset. :monocle:

Recently I picked up the Fett Evolutions Pack and Sith Evolutions Pack. There are some issues with the Fett Legacy ie. Boba's Jet Pack falls off. Another is Jango's purple color and holsters aren't attached to his legs.

Since I picked up two packs, I epoxyied one of Boba's Jet Pack on one and on the other keep the pack on by placing Boba's cape over the Jet Pack hole in his back. For Jango, I just razored off the holsters.

My shadow clones just came yesterday.

I know, they're just clones but they look nice, especially in all black. :)

Thanks for the heads up on the Shadow Troopers. Hopefully they will go down in price like the Shadow Scout Biker ( :XD: )

AT-AP's are finally starting to hit the shef and as a end of the semester present I got an AT-AP along with the somewhat rare Kashyyyk Trooper for it to boot. It's small and underscaled as usual for the $19.99 ship line but still fly. Should tide me over till the holidays when I plan (hope) to get the AT-TE.

It's been three years after Revenge Of The Sith and we are still getting new product. :chewbacca:

The tie ins with Clone Wars will help with that.

Did you hear the rumor that they're thinking about a Star Destroyer vehicle? Only of the BMF sells well.

I must live in a Star Wars quarantine zone, because none of the stores around me have gotten anything new since x-mas.

Those Fett/Sith evo packs look pretty doap. Mandalore was kind of  in the comic, but the figure looks pretty cool. And Enter the Dragon Maul is a must have.

The Sith one is ok, except Darth Bane his figure is odd looking.
