2007 can suck my fucking cock on it's way out. This year has been nothing but a miserable kick in the face for me, and I spit on it as it scurries out the doggy door of years past with it's rancid and worm ridden tail between it's deformed and disatisfying legs. I hope when the year 2007 looks back on it's life it decides to do the right thing and commit suicide, or at least play blindfolded in traffic on meth. I hate you 2007.

Hello, 2008! Treat me right or I will skull-fuck you, rip off your head and spike it like a football splattering it like a fleshy melon, then jump up and down on your chest until your guts poor out your bloody neckhole. Fucker.

Have a Happy New Year MF!

2007 was alright for me. I guess the biggest change for me for this year was the fact I got gastric bypass surgery and have lost 140lbs in six and half months. Other than that it just seemed like every other year. This year too seemed to have gone by way to fucking fast. Thanksgiving didn't seem like Thanksgiving and the same can be said for Christmas too. I never got into the Christmas spirit... I was just "blah" the whole time.

Shit year. My work went completely to hell, and I don't know if I'll be able to get anything positive out of it before my contract ends late this year. Which, given the area I work in, will kill my career completely. Fuck 2007, the year started with so much potential and ended up being really bad.

Same as every year. The only difference to me was 2007 went by faster than any year before it. Just like 2006 before that, and 2005 before that. My life will be over before you know it. I guess in that regard, fuck 2007.

I was neutral until this last month....this last month can kiss my ass, and so can 2007. Here's to 2008, a leap year, so another day to get screwed over for all of us!

Bitter...what's bitter? I'm not bitter.

This year I moved to California, so I'm not complaining. The Star Wars Anniversary was a letdown while Blade Runner's blew me away. Got to experience the 3D-movie trend (so-so), watch the lead-up to Indiana Jones (awesome) and bought plenty of cool crap that got cranked out by Asian factories and franchise marketing machines.

Thanks for all the responses, and a big "Hello, long time-no post" to insert username. Welcome back. How was jail, or wherever it is you have been hiding? And did you see femme01 there because she doesn't love us anymore either.

I actually was doing great most of the way through 2007. I was making good money and was (so I thought) about to get a raise and a promotion. I had a kick ass vacation planned/paid for and me and the Mrs were trying to grow baby assasins. Debt was low, income was high. And then 17 days before my kick-ass prepaid vacation, on August 31st, I was, to my utter disbelief, laid off. I went anyways, fuck it. And after coming back to a series of rose colored interviews and me dishing out a few middle manager ego re-alignments, I was unemployed for a month and a half. Which completely fucked up all the progress I had made up to that point. I finally found a decent job though, but it's not the same. I used to work 2 and 1/2 miles from my house and now I work 40+ miles away. And I make a lot less money. All that and I had to give up my favorite herbal anti-rage medication/hobby. November/December started to see things getting back on track, but not nearly enough to break even. And now all my money goes to paying bills.

I had always thought there was more to life than money. Until one day, I didn't have any. I'm sure a lot of folks have it worse than me, so I'm grateful for what I've still got. But that doesn't make it any easier to watch everything I've worked hard to achieve for 16+ years go down the shitter.

Other than all that though, I had a decent year. I feel pretty good, my wife still loves me (so she says) and nobody I know died. In that regard, I hope 2008 follows suit.

From what I understand IU has been on Big Brother Down Under for the past year secluded on a New Zealand island and had computer problems also.

I voted the second option because a lot of the negative stuff happened to me was outweighed by some positive stuff. Also I involuntarily had to cut back on the  because of local supply and personal issues. This fall semester was really tough for me due to a difficult instructor and our campus basically had no one there on my schedule. Fortunately there were a few extremely fine young women around.

In terms of Star Wars, it seemed like 2006 had more to offer than 2007 in spite of it being the 30th Anniversary. 2006 seen HI-DEF and DVD releases and there was metric tons of toys for collectors. In 2007, no DVD releases and The Anniversary Collection while awesome (Y-Wing :monocle: ) there wasn't enough to go around.

2008 looks to be a good year for Star Wars and movies in general. We got the The Clone Wars coming up and Live-Action Series spoilers should be dropping. MF has the only dedicated forums for each of the Star Wars TV series and the Movie Spoilers & Movies forums to attract attention.

At best, I'd say I'm indifferent about 2007 as nothing too spectacular happened good or bad wise. (None that I can remember ;) )

I think Britney should gain about 20 lbs in her breasts and ass and start doing porn.

Some home amature video porn of hers has leaked if I remember correctly. I'm surprised she hasn't started doing real porn though.

Hope it’s a good and prosperous year for all here.

Well 2008 just turned to a big FU for me right now, as my job just went the way of Troy's. I find out tomorrow when my last day will be, hopefully it will be the longest out and give me time. Assess cut 550 people, with only 300'ish jobs open...now we all have to fight for scraps.

That fucking sucks. Really sorry to hear it Cryostar. Hope things work out for you. Get unemployment if you can, I wish I did when I had the chance. It never seemed like "enough", but it beats making jack shit nothing while you scramble for something else. I'm still trying to dig out of that mistake.

Considering the way I totally threatened 2008 in da OP, I'm sure this is going to lead to better things for you in the long run.

Damn Cryo sucks that happened to you. I'm sure you'll find another job in no time. Good luck man and keep your spirits up.

Well I can honestly say that so far now that this year has gone to shit. My girlfriend dumped me last night for one of her close guy friends that she knows when she was living in Washington state. Yes I was having a long distance relationship. Well all I can say is fuck you to her. I'm done with relationships for a while. Who knows maybe I'll end up meeting someone when I get back into school this summer.

Yeah. And now you are free to flirt with every trashy yet nailable woman you see without any guilt. I never get to do that anymore.

Lucky bastard.

ha ha thanks fellas. Ya it'll be better in the long run. Last night she tried to apologize and felt bad for the things she said to me. I told her it was too late and she burned her bridge with me and I wasn't going to take her back now or in the future.

I am sure I will meet someone better later down the road.

Also too with me being single again it'll give me an opportunity again to buy shit I want, like a laptop from my friend Joe who I will be seeing next month and also the iPod Touch in April. Hopefully my year will get better after I have my vacation trip next month... this is a time where I seriously need to go on one.

Fucking women... blah fuck you bitches! (to the women obviously)

I'm not bitter. I got really lucky meeting my wife when I did. It's just a whooole lot different being attached forever. I don't mind it now, but it's nice to reminisce.

And you should have told the gal if she sent you titties.jpg that you would have accepted her apology in full, Raveers. Then sent them to us. It's a thought, but you do what you gotta' do.

Up to Washington state. A long time buddy of mine lives in Battle Ground, Washington which is about 20 minutes or so from Portland, Oregon (so southern part of the state) and I will be visiting him and his wife. I'll be gone from February 15th to March 9th. I doubt I will be able to check the forum that much but we'll see. I haven't seen them in two years (since February of 06) so it'll be nice to see em' again.

Well, have fun. Go visit Twin Peaks for me and take some pictures.

Y'know, other than a mildly renewed sense of optimism and a potential and hopefully forthcoming step up in my employment status, 2008 is really starting to ask for that murderous ass kicking I promised it. I've been trying to get caught up on shit following my unemployed month from hell, and these giant faceless corporations I owe 95% of my income to just aren't playing ball.

Where is Project Mayhem when I need them?

Twin Peaks does look nice, I doubt we'll have time to visit there though. During the days my friend and his wife have to work so I"ll be stuck at their place then. Then the weekends we will be doing other things.

I hope it's not either. Luckily the last time I went there back in 06' it only rained two days I was there. Hopefully it'll be that way away but I doubt it.

Thanks though I'm sure I will have fun, I seriously can't wait!
