Hey all.

In case no one remembers, the original version of SYMPHONY FOR A SAGA was released nearly a year ago, in the following thread:

http://www.millenniumfalcon.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4686

The original received quite a bit of support from fans, and has been downloaded well over 4000 times.

I case you don't remember, I said I would be going back to the project, expanding, and improving the entire thing. Aside from the music, I would also be seeking out a video editor to replace A MUSICAL JOURNEY, which was very inadequate.

The first part of this project is complete, and has been released on a few other sites. So far, it has received even higher praise than the initial version.

The new version began with the release of TPM's single, "JEDI MASTER, QUI-GON JINN'S THEME".

Several weeks back, the first suite, "THE PHANTOM MENACE SUITE" was released.

Both are available for download at the project's site: http://musicofstarwars.tripod.com

All I ask is that people leave their feedback here for others to read and become attracted to this work. As for the future of this project, look for exclusive covers of the current releases soon.

Hopefully we'll have a trailer out set to the first single at the beginning of summer with TPM's music video before summer ends. The title of AOTC's single will be announced before summer, with the debut of the artwork.

Thanks for listening!

I thoroughly enjoyed v2.0. Very well-done. What software are you using to mix the tracks?

Nothing fancy just Acid. Glad you liked and enjoyed wish others would respond though.

Thanks!

I've never used Acid. I've had mixed results with Audacity in some of my more recent projects though. There were problems with *perfect* samples coming out of Audacity with hisses, clicks, pops and other junk.

I enjoyed it a lot. All of my favorite cues arranged in an excellent suite. Thanks, and nice work!

My pleasure! I've used Adobe Audition on my own work but haven't gotten anywhere near the level of clarity you've achieved. And if you're interested, check out the links I posted in the mp3 section. I certainly would appreciate the feedback from someone who's done this all before. :)

I thought it was very well done, thanks for sharing your work. Are you working on v.2's for the other films?
EDIT: Nevermind, looks like you are. That's what I get for not reading thoroughly.

No problem

I'll give it a listen as soon as I get a chance. I'm in the middle of moving out of state so it might be a little while.

A new single is completed! After far too long, the single for Revenge of the Sith: The Lava Planet is now complete!.

This theme required some creativity in the use of alternate and unreleased music. Much of the theme is unaltered. Now The Lava Planet serves as the back drop for the battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin. The Lava Planet has a runtime of 3:20.

Above is the single artwork for The Lava Planet by me!

As for the rest of the files, I'll reup them as soon as I can.

If anyone has more permanent hosting options for this, I'd really appreciate it.

FYI

I've had so many questions asked about how I did this, I posted a fairly indepth "Making of" article on the website.

ROTSv2 is up.

I will be uploading FLAC versions of all suites over time.

Let me know if you like what you heard.

Thanks Todd. Very interesting to read about the process, and your obvious love for what you do.

I have downloaded ROTS v2 and will give my feedback one I have had time to listen to it.
