Don't know if this has been posted on here, but Rob Zombie is remaking the original Halloween. The trailer came out the other day. It looks like it delves more into Michael's backstory. As a huge Halloween fan, I'll go see this movie. It can't be worse than the last one with Busta Rhymes in it. There are a lot of classic death scenes from the original that Rob Zombie has left in there, which is a good thing. Hopefully this movie will kick ass. The guy that plays Linderman in Heroes is playing Dr. Loomis in this movie. Check out the HD trailer below. You have to right click and save as.

I gotta say, Michael looks pretty evil. That second photo is the classic death scene where Michael is dressed up like a ghost.

Yeah, I've seen a few of the spots on TV. Halloween 1 and 2 are two of favs when it comes to horror flicks, hopefully this will be a worthy remake or reimagining or whatever you want to call it.

So...what did people think about this film.

I have yet to see the theatrical version...ahem...

From what I did see it really seems like this film is a wasted opportunity to really reboot this franchise, and do a good, classic slasher film. Plus...the cut I saw really just seems to be uneven...but I head that from other reviews as well. The first half is like a sheep's wet dream of deleted scenes. Great character development...but overkill. The second half of the film is really just an editor on crack. Its the tightest film I've ever seen. Zero room for character in the last half. Sure maybe we know the story...but at least let it breathe for a new generation.

From what character there is...I absolutely hate Laurie and here over sexed friends. They come off as the most vapid people on the planet.

At least this temp track was pretty faithful to the original theme.
