What do you guys think of the new season? I'm liking it so far. Not too much action yet, but they are setting the table nicely.

Buscemi looks like he's gonna be great. I love that they are making him seem a little like a putz at first, but if you saw when Tony got in his face for busting his balls, there was no fear at all in his eyes, when he said don't crowd me...

I'll watch til they kill off Buscemi and then I'm out.

I think this has been one of the best seasons.

I also hope they don't kill off Buscemi's character until the finale season.

Buscemi's one of the best things about this season so far. I really hope they keep him on till the last hurrah; but I think if he does get it (whether in this season or the next), Chris is going to have something to do with it. He may even pull the trigger, who knows. Definitely agree that this season has been damn near perfect so far, and the importance of last season's focus on Tony and Carm's failing marriage is really paying off nicely this year.

Only 7 episodes?

I hope they do a little more than 7 ... 10 would be perfect.

It sickens me that these guys wouldn't go a bit longer...this show has at least 30 episodes before it would jump the shark...And does Gandolfini really think he's the next big movie star? He should talk to the guys from Oz and see how their career is going...

It has been a good season, but a lot of it has been setting up some major shit. If the payoff isn't there(I think it will be, though), this season will be a wash.

Yeah, last night's episode sure was nutty, but really great. you gotta love the show for all the chances they take with the storytelling every once in awhile.

It was good, but now they have to cram a whole lot of resolution into the last few episodes. Unless the whole season is a set up for the last season, in which everybody gets whacked.

I think the last season will be the "money" season. I feel a cliffhanger to end this season.

I think Carmella is going to be pregnant...and not sure who the father is.

Tony will not be pleased.

If that's true about Gandolfini than he really is a stand up guy. I thought it was his demands that was bringing the series to premature halt. Hey, if the writer thinks the story is done, then it's done.

Thanks for posting that info, Cam-Gon Jinn.

Chase doing flicks... wow. I really hope that pans out.

Just caught tonight's episode: "Long Term Parking;" holy fucking shit. Best episode ever. I don't want to get into spoilers here for those that haven't seen it yet, but... wow; I'm still in shock.

Without a doubt, the best one YET. Should be a good final episode in two weeks.

It was fucking awesome. :heavymetal: Tony telling off John was the high point for me. Cooler than John Wayne and Bruce Willis put together. Maybe he COULD have a movie career as the leading man.

I've been hoping for a certain character to bite it since the series began.

Nope. I got something against total airheads who whine all the time and have annoying voices.

Here's a pretty good article I just read concerning the season finale as well a little bit of info on when we can expect the sixth and final season:

(FINALE SPOILERS)

Pretty good finale tonight, not a whole lot of surprises (except one at the very end). Tony B's death wasn't all that shocking, but I wasn't epxecting his death to be at the hands of Tony S. Again,. pretty good finale, but a perfect setup for the sixth and final season Now how the hell are they going to wrap all this up?
