First official public celebration of Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, a pagan Roman holiday that was later co-opted by Christians to celebrate the birth of their favorite Jew. Turning the holiday into "Christmas" (in 336 AD) was part of a pattern of the church stealing various pagan festivals and feast days. :furry:

The snow effect is a rather played overt javascript that came stock with the heavily modified (and temporary) holiday theme snowSilver, a theme which is also being used as a test bed for future forum and banner upgrades and changes.

While out perusing the malls and targets on Christmas Eve, I noticed that Star Wars was the hot toy item. Shelves and pegs were cleared. Pirates II and Superman toys were all the fuck over. Another thing I noticed was Christmas Hos :monocle:

It was a pretty good year for fans and collectors with the AT-AT, Shuttle, X-Wing, and SnowSpeeder being reissued along with the OUT DVDs and Star Wars Hi-Def. Next year will see the 30th Anniversary DVD Box Set and hopefully Clone Wars 3D.

School starts again week :(
