I will never forget the utter feeling of disappointment i and some of my friends felt after watching tpm. We all sat in silence at a coffee shop afterwards. Until someone finally said "well one thing is sure...the first new SW movie and it sucked"...thats of course, just an opinion. :)

I still cannot watch any of the prequels without pressing the forward button...:(

Because like most Prequel bashers like him, even though they hate the movies, they a lot of times "like" the pictures.

Edit: Or are using the pictures to A: Mock the Prequels or B: Make fun of them. or C: Maybe they do like them and they're just lying to us. After all you can pratically type anything you fucking want on the internet and a lot of people will believe the posts.

well if they were filming another episode, I'd say shooting would be just about wrapped at FOX studios by now... :chewbacca:

I too remember standing in a long line waiting to get into the 4 a.m. showing of Star Wars - before it was A New Hope. I did the same thing for EP 5, 6 then I waited a few years and started again...and it was worth it. Every cent, every second. Everytime I went to see them - the Episodes. The Saga. If one had something more than another, I feel that it was the author, filmakers and the audience who grasped those things in each film that appealed to them - as individuals. As an "old timer," I'm not an exclusive OT Loyalist - I saw wonderful tings in the PT as well. Each for its time was visually stunning. For its time was satisfying. Expectations aside, I learned to take what I was given.

Have I ragged on the errors or inconsistancies? Sure, but this month as I sat down to watch
all 6 in order(EP 1 - 6) - I see that it's a great story, made well, technologically above my head and man.

I had a good time again!

I gotta tell you, the last six years were far less exciting than the six before that. Nothing compares to the anticipation for the Star Wars movie, nothing at all.
