I found this list of the rest of the upcoming issues at ign. So far we have been told that this event will see a hero die before the big ending. Now maybe I'm just reading too much into it and don't have enough info, but do you notice how Captain America has a new issue out every month until Nov (#24) and nothing else after that? Does that mean that the rest of his series isn't
Civil War related (hard to believe considering his central role in it). Nov. also is the start of the
Casualties of War series, An 'Iron Man/Captain America' issue, followed by several 'Moon Knight' and a 'Blade' issue. Moon Knight and Blade are allready fucking dead(ish) so I doubt either one of them bite it. (

Is Marvel going to totally fuck this event up by killing off the "living embodiment of the American dream" (and one of the better stand alone series they have at this point)?
I hope not. But it could be a decent story. Killing off some minor unremarkable character wouldn't really do this event any justice. And considering the seemingly lefty political leanings of this drama and how it mirrors/criticizes real world constitutional rights issues, killing off Cap because of political short sightedness would be a powerful statement.
What do you people think is going to happen? I'm not sure really, just speculating here. It's all pretty interesting but........I can't wait for it to be over. Because then the Hulk will return to the Earth, and break it.
