Some highlights were two 1960's style Retro Muscle Car Concepts. Muscle Cars were two door coupe versions of Family Sedans outffited with big block V-8 engines: 350 cu in, 454 cu in or 5.7 liter, 6.0 liter or something like that.

GM is finally putting out some hot cars or at least concept cars. Former Chrysler bigshot Bob Lutz who was responsible for some hot Chrylser cars (Neon, Viper, Prowler, Ram, etc) has moved on to GM. Lutz's presence at GM is finally begining to show.

Chevy is obviously floating this Camaro trial balloon in response to Ford's new retro Mustang.

Hopefully the Big Three make these gas guzzling cars in spite of all the beheadings, thousands of American troop deaths, and new tensions with Iran.

If not then the terrorists have won. :meatwad:

The General Lee was a '69 Charger, not a Challenger. They're differant body styles, and the Challenger, an "E" body was never a four door family sedan. Nor was the Charger ("B" body type), for that matter.

:o I got my dodges mixedup. I believe at first gen Camaro and other GM muscle cars were based off of 4-door platforms. The Dukes rode a Charger gotcha. Also, the Charger is now a 4-door, based upon the Magnum

Dealers and others in the industry say the new Camaro is gonna happen. :)

Dodge sources have said the Challenger is gonna happen also, but it'll be 2008 at the earliest. And from what I've seen from the original Charger concept they revealed a few years back, this new Challenger could be a long way off from what we actually get. The new Charger is a big letdown. Fuckin' Daimler Nazi bastards.
