I keep reading about how friggin' clever it was for Universal to hold more than 60 sneak preview screenings of this movie. What I CAN'T seem to find are any reactions to it. Anyone seen it? Anyone know anyone who's seen it?

I got the DVDs for Christmas maybe a year ago and didn't open them until about a month ago when I saw the trailer for Serenity. I loved the show, read the comics that take place after the show and before the movie and loved the movie.

This movie is worth going to the theaters for (the only movie I thought was goo enough for theaters before this was Episode 3). Joss Whedon came up with some really great characters and managed to create a fun movie that has a great plot driven story as well as a character driven story.

I'm trying to get all my friends to at least watch the first 10 minutes which is online at the website. Hopefully this movie will do well enough in the box office so that a second one can be greenlit.

unfortunatally this movie will fail at the box office, but will profit after a DVD release.

Opened 9/30, with DVD to be released on 12/20 -- under a 90-day window. I know that it kind of bombed, but this is a litle nutty.

Modified disc is already up on torrent networks and Usenet.

For those of you who might be interested, there's a chance the movie will be making it's way back to some big screen.
