After two weeks, I'm finally back in the United States. My vacation to Morocco was enjoyable for the most part, although not as exciting or eventful as some of you might have been expecting. When I first arrived there, my father picked me up from the airport, and we spent the day doing various errands in Casablanca before going to Rabat, the city where my father lives.
The next day we went up to Tanger, a city in the northern part of the country, where my father had rented some rooms at a resort for us to stay at. The place had a great view, being right outside the beach, and I would spend a lot of my time there going swimming or walking along the shore. The majority of my vacation was spent relaxing there, although for the last two days of my stay my father and I went back to Rabat and visited his office there.
Of course, the trip had it's downsides as well. During two occasions, I got really sick to my stomach for several days each time, probably as a result of the food there. I also started feeling sick in the same way after my flight back to New York, and still feel that way, although I don't feel nearly as bad now as I did when I got sick there.
So, that's pretty much it. Like I said, my trip wasn't the exciting adventure that some people were expecting it to be, but I still had a really good time relaxing there most of the time, and got to see my father again.
