The quality is good enough. It looks like your watching a cable award show.

"King of wooden dialogue"

Really, I wasn't expecting jabs at the prequels.

In 1980, Janet Maslin described the dialogue and acting in The Empire Strikes Back as "wooden."

Except Lucas himself never wrote nor directed Empire. Should have clarrified my coment was about Ford/Fisher prequel jokes, not about the quote itself. I just found it funny.

Right... Kazdan and Kershner made the whole thing up on their own.
Good thing 20th Century Fox wrestled the rights to Star Wars away from ol' George by then...

As soon as someone wants to single out FAULTS with the TESB and ROTJ, they're always quick to blame Lucas, since 'he is the creator'.

On the other hand, when someone want to stress the GOOD THINGS about those movies, it has become very handy to point out the influence of Kershner and Kazdan.

How strange...

Swedish Chef, sorry you had to go through a 12-step program. I'm getting EXTRA drunk for you this evening.

(a soon-to-be 12-step program participant...)

Did anyone else notice the absence of Rick McCallum? Maybe I missed him, but I thought it was interesting that he wasn't there.

I don't think there was anyone there associated with the prequels 'cept Smitts .

Yeah, where the hell was Hayden, Natalie, and Ewan? I would consider that insulting if I were one of them and not invited. :whatevaho:

That whole show was like, "Hey George, congratulations on all your work up until 1994."

Wasn't this already answered here? They are on other jobs, in various parts of the world. It's what they do.
