:siren: since the story is still breakin I am updating this thread with comedy accordingly...

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20050616/D8AOUTRG0.html

Quote:
Nelson Amador was more blase, guessing the strength of the quake while on a cigarette break from his job as cook at the Courtyard Cafe in Los Angeles. "This one didn't bother me. I'm used to it," Amador said.

"Anyway, I'm from Honduras, we worry more about hurricanes than earthquakes."

go quakes go

This quake stuff is the best thing that could happen this week. All the news websites (lol "TV News" internt4life) were all like Michael Jackson. Not anymore :wayghey:

Cali hadn't had a major quake for since like the late 80's or early 90's. I think they had one during a world series or something and it was televised.

Last year we got two hurricane go right through us. What are the odds on that shit.

I was without internet and air conditioning for like a total of 4 dayz :vsuicide:

Anyway from what I gather there was and will be little or no damage but heres hoping...

hoping for Vacaville :chainsaw:

I was at that game during the quake in the upper levels & the whole place was shaking. You could see the concrete starting to crack open in some places. It was fucking cool. And a little scary.
