theres no one seeding with more then 58.5% this sucks.

I use bit tornado and have the maximum speed for cable modem.

there are two files being distributed. One is 1.39 GB and the other is 1.38 GB. The 1.39 Gb file seems to be picking up speed as far as percentage completed.

I don't know if this is any help, but I am using Azureus, and right now it is showing anywhere from 9-13 seeds on the 1.39GB version. I've got around 6 hrs left, so when I get home later tonight, hopefully it should be done.

I am about 10% done, getting between 20-35k on average. However, I was looking at the stats and the person with the most downloaded is something like 67%. I'd hate to leave this thing running only to get stuck there, so someone with the whole file please get your ass online and help us all out!

I have the entire file but it is split up into rar and par files. I have never downloaded a movie via newsdgroups before. So, if anyone can help me get these put together I would be more than happy to seed it for you guys

I'm having a different kind of problem... I've been getting decent (for my connection) dl and ul speeds, but the torrent seems to take over my entire connection, even if I limit it to dialup/isdn. I can't open up any websites, receive instant messages, nothing. Is this normal when downloading via torrent files?

So i'd make more chance if I ditched bittorrent and used Azureus?

I think so. When I got up this morning around 7:30, I had no seeds at all. Since then I am now sitting around 14-17 seeds. Sometimes dipping to around 13.

Now that I siad that ^, I am now down to 11 seeds.

First download WinRar: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm (It's the first download on that page). I suggest that if you're going to deal in warez and such that you go find a copy of WinRar pro and download it or pay for it. It's the best compression utility I've ever used: fast, clean, easy. It also handles .zip files so you can ditch that clunky WinZip program.

Then, go to your download folder, right click the sw3a.r00 file and choose extract (i usually let it go into it's own folder just to keep things tidy).

Then, after that one finishes, find your sw3b.r00 file and extract it in the same way. You will have two files.

The only reason you will need the PAR2 files is if your .rar files are corrupt. In that case you will need the PAR program from this website: http://www.quickpar.org.uk/Download.htm. They have a great tutorial in the tutorial section on how to use it. The tutorial for using QuickPar verify and repair damaged files is at http://www.quickpar.org.uk/VerifyingAndRepairing.htm.

bittorrent has been on/off for me all night. i'm downloading both the rar version and the 2 avi version, with 91.9% and 86.1% respectively. when i went to bed 9 hours ago they both had about 3 hours to go at 50kB/s, when i woke up they were both at 1kB/s with 9 hours to go. now they're up to about 15kB/s with 2-4 hours and 0 seeds. at the same time i was also downloading the rar version from a newgroup but that had 8 hours to go so i canceled it. now i wish i hadn't. does anyone know if the split avi version is out on the newsgroups or just the rar version still?

Because not everyone has newsgroup access, and of the ones that do, not everyone has access to the specific groups needed to download this thing, and of the ones that do, not everyone has enough bandwidth.

But by all means, keep the brilliant solutions coming.
