Hi guys.

Creating the last trailer was lots of fun so I made a new one today...
I don't think people are going to like it as much as the last one but since it's only 4 days to go I want to deliver it to you and hope you will have some fun...

Here's the RapidShare-Link: rapidshare.de PROPHECY.wmv.html
(Click FREE and wait till timer passes; then download)

My first trailer can be seen here: rapidshare.de The_R-III-se_And_Fall_Of_A_Hero_by_gufte.wmv.html
Comments are welcome ;)

Once again, good job, it's just not the same without Star Wars music though. Case in point, at the end you use the Imperial March and it just really jarring after hearing nothing but non-Star Wars music through the whole thing.

The scenes are cut together pretty good and I thought I spied one or two that I haven't seen yet.

Well I love to use Adobe After Effects.
I don't have a special way to do a trailer.
But the thing I do first is picking a song i think that could fit.
Then I listen to it over and over again and create images in my head.
The rest is "freestyle" ;)

You might have wanted me to write how i use the program itself but i think that would not fit in here.
But there are a lot of great tutorials in the net.....

/\ /\ Yeah, that's about my method, except I think that Adobe Premiere would be a lot easier for some who has no video editing experience. The array of options and the sheer power of Adobe After Effects is a little overwhelming to a newbie.

And to clarify, since music is an important part of trailers and movies, I usually also pick a song, listen to it over and over while mulling over what scenes I would like to see in it.

check this one:

http://www.digitalvideoschnitt.de/tutor ... 97_5_.html

It's actually a German site but there are lot of tutorials in English listed on the left.

Hope I could help you.

Thanks for the tips guys! I looked on the net for a tutorial, but I didn't find anything that explained how to do it. I don't have Adobe after Effects, but I do have Photoshop CS. Do you guys know a web site that has a good tutorial? Thanks again guys, I appreciate it a lot!

Well, Photoshop is not going to help you make a video (well, it can help you make elements to go in a video), but it won't do the video editing.

If you still want the tutorials for Photoshop, just Google the words "Photoshop tutorial" and you'll find tons.

do you use after effects as a standalone editor? I find using Premiere Pro works better than dealing with AE's sometime clunkiness with edits.

What's the name of the other song you use? In the "Rise and Fall" trailer?
