Thet's probably because NG's and IRC have been around since...well forever...lol...it's like DOS noadays..."it's implied in a computer knowledge mandate"

And for the people who can't follow step by step guides, who can't blame it on a decent computer...then your just retarded :meatwad:

Edit: Sorry Priestess, that wasn't directed toward you at all. Just commenting in general :heavymetal:

Judging by some of the markings at the beginning this is a workprint.

Usually workprints are just recorded onto a tape and sent off to the marketing people who use it to select shots to use in commercials and what not.

You can select force either NTSC (29.99 fps - Region 1 & 2) or PAL (25 fps - Europe and elsewhere) -- that's the beauty of this program. It encodes fast as hell, too.

Phod, and the others asking about having to burn the image. Nope, just mount it with Daemon or Alcohol to a virtual drive, and if you've got a software DVD player, it'll recognize the IFO right away and should start up. If not, get one.

The RIAA has been very active with suing folks hosting lots of music files, while the MPAA seems to be targeting the web sites hosting the trakers most of all so far.

Of course, with the popularity of this movie it would be a ripe target to start ...

If they are going to continue to put this stuff on the internet for us to download then why the fuck not?

Go after the trackers while I enjoy my home copy until the DVD comes out.

"I thought that most tracker sites flush their logs pretty regularly so you'd have to be pretty unlucky to get selected, especially for a torrent of this magnitude."

The problem for them with even using the logs is that the logs only show who DLd the torrent file, not who actually DLd the content.

Another version is available WITHOUT the annoying timecode. It also has the correct aspect ratio as well:

http://www.vcdquality.com/index.php?genre=1&grp=1407

You can see in the pic how the timecode is "blurred" somewhat:

looks like they just scrambled out the timecode.

They probably just touched it up themselves.

ahh nice stealth edit...

You seem to have missed the part where it says:

Yes as has been stated before, the movie is 100% complete (even the credits).

Right click the "Lightning Icon" > Virtual CD/DVD-ROM > No Media > Mount Image

Select the ROTS iso, play it like a DVD and enjoy!

At the risk of sounding like a demanding nub, could any of you who have seen the film/got the file make screencaps of those rare military vehicles we´ve never heard about until now? (Like that Republic tank on Mygeeto and those obscure walkers.) Me and some other SW techies would appreciate it. :)

Is anyone else having a problem with DIVXtoDVD? I'm trying to fix the aspect ratio to 16:9. I've opened both vob files simultaneously in DIVXtoDVD, selected 16:9 and started converting. However, once it gets to the Mustafar massacre, it starts over. By the time the conversion is over, the movie is all there, it is just out of order.

Anyone having this problem, or know what I'm doing wrong?

Yea, I was having trouble with it also.

FYI - the DivX Player will play the .VOB files if you mount the .ISO. It has an option to force the display to 16:9 or tio set a custom display. Setting it to 2.35:1 works perfectly. Other DVD/Video players may have this option as well.

Hey everyone. First off, just seen the movie in the theatre and it was great! Now...I was wondering if I could get some advice or help with this bit torrent download? I am using Azureus to download the movie but it is going sooo slow. I've been downloading for about 3 hours and I'm only at 3% done. Is there any way I can make it go faster or if there are any sites that have better speeds. If so can you please post links to them. Thank you in advance.

Well i watched the film at the cinema before i watched this version and i have spotted one difference. When Obi-Wan is fighting Grevious' guard, he cuts his head off and in the cinema version it falls to the floor as if its dead and obi-wan turns to walk away but it gets back up and obi-wan looks surprised and then destroys it. In this version after he cuts the head off it just continues to fight.

Anybody else noticed any minor differences?

Could someone please help me out. I tried going to torrentit like someone posted but I need someone to invite me so I can use the torrent. Isn't there any other way to make the download go faster or at least another website that has a good torrent?

Torrent speeds are generally based on how much you upload yourself. One person getting 250k/s down does not mean someone else will get the same speed.

Stick to ThePirateBay for now.

I had my firewall turned off and it still goes slow. I tried downloading different torrents to see if any work better but so far the only one that has been working for me is Azureus. When I try any other torrent it either doesn't go anywhere or goes really, really slow. I've been downloading for about 6 hours now and it's only at 4%

If a nub such as myself just wanted to burn this on a dvd, does it need to be re-encoded? Or can I just pop it in Nero or whatever and watch it on my dvd player ok?

Here is a link to the Aspect Ratio fix ifo's (150k). This works great on the workprint.

Star.Wars.Episode.3.Revenge.of.the.Sith.WP.DVDR-ViSA.Aspect.Ratio.FiX-iND.zip

Read the .nfo inside the zip for instructions.

You can post the aspect corrected .ifos if you wish again. It was probably removed because it fucked up the forums with sidescroll.

I used the program ImgTool Classic to create a .iso file so I could mount it as a DVD in alcohol.

You can get that from here.

The MSinfo document didn't open for me? Do you just have to move the VIDEO_TS files that came with it into the Video folder?

It isn't a MSInfo file. That is just what Windows uses .nfo for. Use "Open With" to open the file in Notepad. Then it will work. And yes, you just have to overwrite the files in the Video_TS folder.
