:yay: for Mandalorian coeds and fucking SHOCK COLLARS. Finally a good episode this season.

Satine's quick dismissal of the allegations makes me think she is not at all innocent. Removing the Prime Minister certainly increased her own power.

Ahsoka, while admirable in this story, needs to put some damn clothes on. She looks ridiculous teaching a class in her pervy-13-year-old bandeau.

The high points for me were for some reason the Theta-style Shuttle and Satine getting the shit shocked out of her.

The low was our friend Scooby Doo.

That would be the Eta-class shuttle, following the Greek Alphabet theme. :)

This episode did what the series does best: balance story telling with theme, character, and production design.

Or does it pave the way for the election of a new and even stronger-willed PM?

Yeah another great episode. I just wish they were at least 10 minutes longer so that every part could be explained in a bit more detail. The torture scene was too short though (hmm am I THAT evil ? :D). The new characters were pretty cool in my opinion - I even liked the cadets.

Same! I am enjoying these episodes with a political tone quite a lot. I'm interested in seeing where this will lead Mandalore, but by the looks of next weeks episode, we're going to have to wait a while for that one.

I noticed in one of the stills above, the one with the cadets in the warehouse, the Aurebesh font on the crate reads "Cargo". I'm also really enjoying the music as well - feels very Star Wars to me - :heavymetal:

Oh man, Aurebesh in this episode? I got plenty. For instance, one of the wall-texts behind Ahsoka in the classroom has several basic definitions that fall under the umbrella of corrupt practices (nepotism, patronage systems etc.) It's right behind her, so that part is hard to read, but I assume the crew just took several dictionary entries to make it. The one on the right is original and reads:

Corruption in Mandalore

Since the turn of the
century, corruption has
been on the rise, and now
with the current changes
in the Mandalorian
government and the
rebelion of the Death
Watch, corruption is only
expected to increase. One
must be educated about
corruption in order to
prevent it. Take action
and do your part to stop
corruption.

A nice little history trivia plus a repetition of the same word that reminds me of my school days, ugh. And there was only two spelling errors I could find, so they're getting better. :meatwad:

I can't help, but chuckle at how that one cadet looks like Conan O'Brien, the late night show host.

His only way to make it on a network at this time?

Very decent episode. I thought the Papanoida one was so badly written because of Katie Lucas' participation in the scriptwriting, but this one was really ok, so now I'm not really sure what happened there.
