Well Roy Scheider passed away today. I'll always remember him as Captain Nathan Bridger.

The shark finally got him sniff.

... And he finally got a bigger boat.

I've always thought he was a very cool actor. Smart and nicely understated.



Myy personal favorite film of his is "All That Jazz." It took some balls for him to go from playing cops and tough guys to a self-destructive sexually ambiguous choreographer.

Although I saw JAWS quite a few more times, I'll always remember him driving under a truck in THE SEVEN-UPS.



Also known as the film that saved Jessica Lange's career.

Yeah, I usually don't care about most of these fucks, but Roy seemed very cool.
