I'm not an expert audio edit guy or anything, but a few months ago I thought it might be kinda neat to combine the best music cues from the various prequels into one big file with some (hopefully) decent transitions between the cues. Below are the two files for TPM. Like I said, I'm not an expert audio editor and so some of these edits may not be to your liking, but hopefully at least a few of you will enjoy them.
TPM Part 1- http://s61.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2JH9XGQG4AGQ2248TZMCQW2KL2
TPM Part 2- http://s56.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1NMEPT3F3Z99H2MBIUGINC1T4W
EDIT- Oh yeah, the idea was to sorta present it all chronologically (with regard to the movie). This may be a little superfluous in the face of the TPM Ultimate Edition, but whatever. |

That's pretty good dude. Hey no one is perfect at editing music. Hell even I am still trying to get it down.
I know this may sound cheesy but think of editing music as art. It takes a lot of time, paitence and most importantly pratice. I've been editing music for 5 years now and even 6 months ago my edits were pretty horrible. As I said it takes pratice, you just got to know where to fade in and out and mix paste. Also listen to your transitions if you're not satisified with them just keep getting the mix right until you do like them.
I mean this is a good edit I like what you have done with it just giving you some tips is all. |

| Seems like this has gotten basically zero interest, but if anyone cares I also have comps for AOTC and ROTS. |

I haven't finished listening to it yet, but its a pretty good abbreviation of TPM, and I'd love to hear the others as well.
If your interested, check out the 'Symphony for a Saga' thread in this forum. Its my own project that is somewhat similar. I released the first version a year ago here and am reworking it as we speak!
Thanks for the DL! |
