After three long years of relentless fighting, the Clone Wars are nearly at an end. The Jedi Council dispatches Obi-Wan Kenobi to bring the deadly leader of the Separatist droid army to justice. The Chancellor of the Republic has been kidnapped during neogitations to end the Clone Wars by the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems - Count Dooku and his evil hencmen General Grevious.

Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are sent on a mission to rescue the Chancellor from the evil clutches of Dooku. During the space battle, Obi-Wan's astromech is damaged and crash lands in the hanger bay of the Federation Cruiser. Anakin Skywalker quickly goes after him and enters the cruiser bay.

Obi-Wan and Anakin quickly dispatch and hide in the engine room. Obi-Wan leads Anakin into through the heart of the cruiser's engine room which is flooded with fuel - even though he has to chastise Anakin for trying to get too far ahead of himself. Artoo follows and logs into the computer system of the Crusier and finds that Palpatine is being held in the General's Quarters of the Cruiser. Anakin and Obi-Wan climb through some ventilation shafts and come to a elevator foyer.

They take the elevator to the bridge area and are immediately set upon by multitudes of droids, the Jedi make their way towards the General's Quarters. Obi-Wan is immediately set upon by General Grevious as Anakin takes on Dooku. Dooku is killed and Anakin rushes to the aid of Obi-Wan who is battling to stay alive against General Grevious. They push Grevious back and out the window, creating a vacuum within the ship.

Losing control of the ship, the Cruiser begins to head towards a Republic Military Cruiser. The Neimodian pilot panics and begins to turn the ship around. The Cruiser hits the Republic Cruiser, tearing it apart. Anakin and Obi-Wan free the Chancellor and desperately try to return to their ships when the Cruiser beings to turn and roll. The Elevator plummets and Anakin and Palpatine fall into the shaft. Palpatine holds on as Anakin tries to pull him up. The continues to roll and begins to head directly into the heart of Coruscant.

While Obi-Wan tries to protect the Chancellor, Anakin goes to the bridge and tries to gain control of the rolling cruiser and safely crash lands the Cruiser on the surface of Coruscant. Fire Ships are sent to the site and successfully retrieve the Chancellor and the Jedi.

ARTOO wanders down the hallway but is ordered to go back to the starship.

The JEDI squeeze through and seal the hatch in a main hallway.

The seal holds as the explosion rocks the ship. The JEDI begin to run down the hall.

ANAKIN tries to dodge debris as smoke fills the corridor.

The JEDI wait at a group of elevators. Suddenly, a group of DROIDEKAS attack the them. Explosions hit the walls around them.

The JEDI battle BATTLE DROIDS inside the elevator. ANAKIN manages to cut a hole in the ceiling.

OBI-WAN continues to fight BATTLE DROIDS that try and destroy him. The elevator continues to descend rapidly.

A BATTLE DROID finds ANAKIN. ANAKIN flips himself up into the shaft and lands on the roof of the elevator. He falls through the hole in the ceiling. He startles OBI-WAN.

The elevator comes to a sudden stop.

23. INT. ELEVATOR LOBBY, GENERAL'S QUARTERS - SPACE

ANAKIN and OBI-WAN step from out an elevator. The door hisses shut as they step out into a long hallway. ANAKIN and OBI-WAN walk down the hallway.

i know its still only a year away, but its terrifying how much of the film "we" know already! (although some people come up to me and are still saying i "just" saw a pic of anakin and his hair is long!) imho i love all this, keep it coming tern! when is the next installment?
on ep2 i stopped the spoilers when i heard about anakins arm! this time there is no stopping me!
although we already know everything (well we think we do!) its still great to read it all put together!

Well, this is close but is still wrong. Anakin, Palps and Obi-Wan actually get chased within the ship. I still don't know how they get from the hangar to General's quarters then into the engine room and back into the bridge. And there is no evidence that Anakin ever reaches the bridge or lands the Cruiser on Coruscant.

Open to suggestions here.

Yeah - and they fall down a ramp. This is AFTER they rescue Palpatine. I am not sure what happens after they rescue Palpatine but they seem to be end up in the heart of the crusier - not the bridge area. At this point - while they are being chased, Anakin comlinks some one (Artoo more than likely).

and anakin hangs in the shaft by himself too, this is definteley shaping up to be the best opener of the bunch!

I thought it sounded pretty good, doesn't quite matchup with some of the footage we've seen but I think it's probably pretty close to what we'll see. For some reaason I've been spoiler crazed for this episode after going spoiler free for 1 and 2.

I cannot believe that Palpatine isn't going to use his force powers in order to save his endangered live in the cruiser.
Theorie: At some point OB1 is unconscious. Palpatine uses this moment to use his powers to get rid of the dangerous situation at hand. Whatever Palpatine does it seems to me that this cruiser scene is the point where Anakin senses or realizes that Palpi is more than a Nabooishian.

Nah, Palpatine CAN'T reveal Sidious until after Anakin saves him. This is Anakin becoming the HERO.

I thought so. The fact it just stayed on their site and not so much as a whimper from LFL, and the character "Grevious" were enough for me to denounce it immediately.

Okey day...here is the breakdown of that outline. It doesn't fit since it leaves out DOOKU completely. Also, Anakin can't rescue Palpatine so late in the piece and we know the trio end up crossing some precarious piping that breaks and Anakin is carrying both around for a while.

ANAKIN and OBI-WAN approach the Federation Cruiser and manage to enter the doors of the hangar bay before it shuts.

INT. HANGAR, FEDERATION CRUISER - SPACE

The steel doors shut. OBI-WAN desperately pulls out his lightsaber and cuts open the canopy of his starfighter. He jumps out just as the ship crashes and bursts into flames.

He is quickly surrounded by hundreds of BATTLE DROIDS. ANAKIN, still in his ship, flies through the hanger and crashes into the DROIDS saving OBI-WAN.

Neimoidians pilot the ship as GENERAL GREVIOUS waits on the bridge. The crew plug away at controls. The crews look up as there is suddenly a new development.

The PILOT sits in a large chair and becomes panicky. The starship suddenly shakes and begins to turn around. He gets up and begins to leave the bridge.

EXT. SPACE

MILITARY CRUISERS pound the FEDERATION CRUISER with blaster fire. The ship is damaged.

INT. ENGINE ROOM, FEDERATION CRUISER - SPACE

The JEDI cross the floor of the engine room followed by more BATTLE DROIDS. Something hits the ship and liquid fuel begins to leak. The JEDI are unable to use their lightsabers. The quickly to try to escape the dangerous situation.

The pair of JEDI enter the fuel and make their way towards a VENTILATION shaft. Suddenly, OBI-WAN is attacked by a BATTLE DROID. The situation becomes more dangerous as the fuel makes its way towards some exposed ELECTRODES.

INT. HALLWAY, FEDERATION CRUISER - SPACE

The two Jedi climb out of the shaft and into a hallway. ANAKIN seals the hatch behind them with his lightsaber. The fuel reaches the electrodes in the engine room and explodes.

OBI-WAN and ANAKIN fight together against GREVIOUS amongst raised platforms and sunken floor sections where there are duty stations. OBI-WAN climbs the illuminated stairs that lead to the expansive platforms to each side of the main floor.

OBI-WAN is hurled through the air by the GENERAL and hits the wall. He collapses. ANAKIN fights the GENERAL alone.

Outside the window, the ships begins to plunge towards the planet of CORUSCANT. GREVIOUS smashes through the window and escapes.

INT. EMERGENCY POD, FEDERATION CRUISER - SPACE

GREVIOUS enters an emergency pod and escapes.

ANAKIN tries to take control of the ship as it plunges towards the busy metropolis below. OBI-WAN awakes.

Meh, considering that Han, Leia and Chewie can go out in a giant space slug's gut wearing nothing but breath masks, I'm sure the General will be ok. This is probably one of those "i'll leave to the EU to explain it" details. (mini forcefields over the eyes or something equally stupid).

It just occurred to me that if Grevious is breaking through the glass into space, his eyeballs would probably explode.

The Borg are fine in outer space.

He'll still have his faceplate on.

So, does this mean that there are other Jedis involved after all?
This whole cut sounds as promising as the stuff from the AotC script. Let's hope Lucas is able to pull this off.

19. INT ELEVATOR SHAFT, FEDERATION CRUISER - SPACE

ANAKIN grabs onto the entry door to the elevator and watchs as the elevator plunges down under him. A blast of wind hits him.

INT. CORRIDOR, FEDERATION STARSHIP

The shadow-filled corridor is filled with grime and steam. There is gunfire blasts from hundreds of droids. ARTOO trundles through the corridor.

21. INT. ELEVATOR, FEDERATION CRUISER - SPACE

OBI-WAN continues to fight BATTLE DROIDS that try and destroy him. The elevator continues to descend rapidly.

22. INT. ELEVATOR, FEDERATION CRUISER - SPACE

A BATTLE DROID finds ANAKIN. ANAKIN flips himself up into the shaft and lands on the roof of the elevator. He falls through the hole in the ceiling. He startles OBI-WAN.

The elevator comes to a sudden stop.

23. INT. ELEVATOR LOBBY, GENERAL'S QUARTERS - SPACE

ANAKIN and OBI-WAN step from out an elevator. The door hisses shut as they step out into a long hallway. ANAKIN and OBI-WAN walk down the hallway.

ANAKIN (to Obi-Wan)

INT. LOCALE B

OBI-WAN and ANAKIN fight together against a common foe amongst raised platforms and sunken floor sections where there are duty stations. OBI-WAN climbs the illuminated stairs that lead to the expansive platforms to each side of the main floor.

OBI-WAN is hurled through the air and hits the wall. He collapses.

INT.

COUNT DOOKU confronts OBI-WAN KENOBI.

INT. BRIDGE, FEDERATION CRUISER

Neimoidians pilot the ship as two menacing characters wait on the bridge.. The crew plug away at controls. The crews look up as there is suddenly a new development.

The PILOT sits in a large chair.

PILOT

The PILOT becomes panicky. The starship suddenly shakes and begins to turn around. He gets up and begins to leave the bridge.

INT.

The floor begins to tilt. ANAKIN begins to slide down the ramp.

ANAKIN (into his commlink)

INT.

ANAKIN looks back and begins to run like hell.

ANAKIN

ANAKIN and OBI-WAN run away from the unseen dangers. Suddenly, a trap door opens.

INT. RESOLVE (D)

They walk on. Suddenly, the grey room begins to turn. They fall towards the raised slats and sunken panels of the ceiling.

Excellent. Glad I decided to check this place out again.

We now know from the new webdoc that both Anakin and Obi-Wan take on Dooku. So I assume Grievous joins the fray at some point and separates Obi-Wan from the duel leaving Anakin to fight Dooku alone and subsequently kill him?
