No new footage, but I was watching NASCAR today, and there was a funny ep III commercial tie in with pepsi.

This guy is sitting at a diner, and yoda mind tricks him into giving up his burger and fries, but the guy resists when yoda tries to take the pepsi. includes a chewie cameo

I saw another commercial, for the life of me can't remember the product, but it was this guy waiting for his paper and this mean paperboy throws the paper to some bushes. The guy gets angry and force pushes the paperboy and at the end force pulls the paper. Anybody seen it?

I've seen it, it's for the video game.

There's another one in a gymnasium with a kid force pushing basketballs.

anyone remember the one with the heavyset guy wearing the (think it was) cinnamon buns on his head? talking in a high pitch and doing princess leia lines.

saw one yesterday of chewy yelling into a mic at a recording studio, and he keeps yelling the same, and the recording guys are sayin "ok, with more feeling" "RAWWWWR!", "ok, great. this time, your mad!" "RAWWWWR!" etc..

then it goes out to the waiting room and all the rest of the SW characters are waiting their turn, bitching about how long chewy is taking.

I seen that one, I also got to see the other two yesterday for the video game, The one with the guy wielding a light saber slashing at the incomming basketballs, And then force pushing the basketball to the other people on the other side of the court, And then the one where this guy waits outside for the paperboy to throw the newspaper, But throwing it in th be bushes, The guy gets pissed and force pushes the paperboy to fall off the bike, Then force pulls the newspaper his hands.

I guess it's worth mentioning that Gordon won the race yesterday with the Yoda-mobile.

Yeah, This could mean that EP3 will be the biggest movie of the year, If the car with the EP3 paint on it won the Nextel Cup, Then it could mean, EP3 will break box office records?

holy shit, Yoda's animation was awesome.

In terms of F1 commercials i don't think you can beat poor Marc Gene running his Williams around a crown shaped "Budwieser" track and jumping out of the car in disgust at who designed it. HP had a bunch of good ones too.

Just saw the Joda commercial....man did he look pissed.

BTW, did the advertising "really" start today? For the first time did I see so many ROTS commercials and related Star Wars commercials. From 6-8 alone, watching UPN, RERUNS for shows, I saw 3 ROTS commercials, 2 game ones, and 3 Pepsi ones. Damn.

I've seen the ROTS trailers for quite some time now, especially during March Madness on CBS. It wouldn't surprise me if the advertisments have been skyrocketing recently though--the movie's only 16 days away (in America).

I noticed the same thing , Pika. Today was the first day I've really seen an onslaught of ads. I saw like 5 TV spots, and 6 or 7 different ads.

The Pepsi ad was great. Yoda looked awesome. It actually made me laugh a bit.

I'm thinking ILM did that Yoda animation, and Frank Oz did the voice. It looks real good.

I'm waiting for the NBA Ultimate Matchups. I've been watching TNT all week *Pistons!* and I saw a promo for it, but I never actually saw it. Anyone see it during the Seattle game last night, I fell asleep.
