i just watched this, then found this thread. this was a very well done video. i love the star wars music.

a friend of mine and i were discussing the other day that john williams is possibly the greatest composer/conductor of our time. like RM said, you can watch the star wars movies [or any with williams' music, for that matter], and know exactly what the emotion of the characters at the time is.

i do need to pick up the soundtrack tho.. for the dvd.

Good webdoc. J. Williams needs to speak up a little. It was hard to hear him.

Plus, during the part where the LSO is playing BOTH, you can see some lava on the screen in the background. So I'm hoping we'll hear some BOTH when Obi and Ani are lava "surfing".

I think this is my favorite webdoc, mainly because I'm such a huge John Williams fan, and because I am also a musician. It was amazing to see the LSO playing BotH. Great vid!

Really liked this WebDoc... John Williams is a legend!

I loved the alternate music video at the end... it had all the good stuff in it. :)

Sometimes you think you're making a difference in someone's life by bitchslapping them around a bit :).

And it will.

It won't affect me seeing it a gazillion times in the theater, though.

You gotta have balls to do something like that. I couldn't imagine it.

The DVD comes with PCM stereo and 5.1 surround sound, in 5.1 it sounds fantastic, it was re-recorded by Williams when he was doing the music for ROTS. I pumped it up to volume 58 :) and pissed the neighbours off who listen to 50 Cent all the freak'n time.
Each song is introduced by Ian and he tell you the whole Star Wars saga story, it's just like a story book with music to boot.
Man, the A life redeemed and the last video will bring a tear to your eye, done really nicely.
I got mine from WH SMITH here in the UK for £11.99, bargain.
