WOW. That truely is the most visually spectacular SW film, at if these clips are to be trusted. :)

I like the detail on Grievous, especially the eyes. But of course, he is just the icing on the cake here.

Love the shot of the Wookies and tanks getting hit by enemy fire.

ahhh one computer just died because of trying to open the file, and the one i'm on now won't open the file either.

What is wrong? It's in quicktime, like any other quicktime file, and it just doesn't open. I double click it, and quicktime opens, and then my mouse turns into a spinning beach ball.

I'm going mad!!!!!!

If it was my file, it was a 90mb mpg kvcd file. Ready to burn.

OK I just got it from a user, be sure you'll get more links in like 10 - 15 hours because my friggin connection drops every 2 minutes and it would be impossible for me to upload anything now ... But hopefully, tomorrow everything will be settled.

Thanks everyone who shared this damn video and who will share it in the next hours / days. And please keep up the work via MP to make sure users get it first and unregistered users only after.

Talk to you all tomorrow with some more links.

It's about 3x too big for rapidshare, as was determined on page one.

Thanks goes out to whoever made\captured this video. I'm surprised they let, or you were able, to record the footage at the event. I figured GL would have that place secured tighter than the Pentagon. Maybe he figured he can't be us, in that case he just needs to show the movie now  .

Does anyone know how to split it and post it as self extracting ZIPs and EXEs?
'Cause I don't.
But that would work on Rapidshare...

Personally, I didn't think the security was as tight for the footage as it was for AOTC, though it could have had to do with where I was sitting. At C2 I saw the footage once, and there were 2 or 3 people who got their cameras taken away. I saw it twice this year, and didn't see any cameras get taken away.

I will let it run until there will be at least 5 or more seeders

Thank you, Dr Bass!

Holy shit you guys were right; this fucker is taking forever to load. I'll update the board and let them know when I have it downloaded. I'll see if I could put it up on my AOL homepage....wait, would that be 'illegal'? Maybe I'll do a YSI link instead.

macgeek2005: Clearly, you're using Mac. So too am I. I also get the spinning beach ball action when I try opening the files. It must be something with Mac's quicktime... I'm just not getting the mpeg file to open. And yeah, it crashed me out, too.

So, next question: Have any mac users been able to access the files? If so, which one and with what software???

For those who are remarkably techno-literate: any chance of somebody converting this file over to another format? We poor Mac people are desparately in need!!! LOL ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~ I still don't miss windows, though I am hurting this particular moment...!!!

Macgeek: let me know if you get a copy that works. I'll do the same for you.

WE WILL SURVIVE!!! LOL...

The file is a KVCD mpg. Thus, it most likely won't play on macs. Sorry, but I was tired as hell when I transferred it from my cam this morning and the quickest way I could think of to get the file size way down was KVCD.

It's probably going to take a long time. I have digital cable (which is pretty fast), it's been going for about an hour, and it still isn't done.

I'm thinking I'll have two links up within a half an hour.

For those new to YouSendIt. Just because it's taking a long time doesn't mean it's not working. It will take forever, even if you have a fast connection. Upload speeds are way slower than download speeds.

Be patient, upload, and spread the love through PM's. :)

It says 1-5 minutes per MB. 90 MB file. That's 1.5 hrs - 7.5 hrs.

I'm working on it too... ugh.

"Why do I feel like I'm throwing popcorn to seagulls?"

Because Seagulls will devour anything you give them...

And when it comes to this movie good or bad we are exactly the same

Got a YSI here.

25 available, go at it.

Also, does the shot where Yoda jumps and slices the troopers seem to cut off early? Has anyone seen the troopers' heads get cut off?

And is that Alderaan I spied, the mountain planet?
