I am guessing the scene is changed, since the clips from the trailer makes the Palps/Mace confrontation different to the one in the book.

Thats understandable. It describes how fast he cuts them down but in the trailer they all have time to "flinch" and he hadn't raised his sword.

Still looks like he got his arse kicked either way.
