Has anyone noticed if there are any noticiable differences between the Hayden Vader suit and the Prowse Vader Suit?

Are they made to be identical so as to stay faithful the the OT appearance such as the height and the brawn that Prowse had? Or are we going to see a streamlined and low carb version of Vader? It's really no big deal, I am just curious if anyone may know.

Not sure, but you also have to realize that the Vader suite wasn't just worn by Prowse in the OT. Also, it looks slightly different in each film.

And, of course, he's younger in Episode 3. :monocle:

Ok, I was just wondering if there were going to be blatantly obvious differences. It would not matter how young or old he is would it? There is hardly nothing left of him that could grow or gain weight. I am just saying there is a big difference between Prowse's build and Christianson's that I am sure they could've manipulated in the studio like they did in Lord Of The Rings with the hobbits.

from the pics we have already seen, i have noticed some size discrepancies. Vader's "head" now looks a lot larger compared to the rest of him than it did in the OT. I wish that Hayden had not foiught so hard to get to wear it in the new film. Or maybe i wish they had at the very least, forced him to stand on a boc.

Luckily, Vader's arms and legs are all artificial. This is my reasoning for telling myself that in the 19 years between Episodes III and IV,, Vader decided he wanted longer arms and legs :) (More reach while fighting? It appears that Grievious' cyborg/robot body is larger than his original one)

In fact, in my head i would love to imagine that Vader even had a Grievious style 4 armed body for a period of time yet to be documented. Ahhhh the joy of imagining a 4 armed Vader slaying Jedis in their hiding holes!

The material used on his arms is different, and some pieces are colored silver, but nothing too noticeable. The mask is thinner with the kabuto-like-helmet a bit bigger.

Although all the Vader suits are slightly different, I think a lot of it is the size of Hayden. Ok, not too many guys are as big as Prowse, so pad the suit. In some of those publicity stills it looks like a scrawny kid wearing his father's DV suit. And those skinny wrists on the "Arise, Lord Vader" scene--yikes!

From what I saw on the SW:OT Bonus DVD, there were symmetrical errors on the original helmet(s) that were corrected for ROTS. Aside from that, I suppose that what remained of Ani's body gained weight over time. I do agree with the idea that he got extensions, seeing as how 29-year-olds don't really have much sprouting left to endure.....heh.

I can believe that he just probably worked out more and gained more weight over the 20 years. it can happen. He prob got extension of his cybernetic arms/legs as well.
