What is that? Some kind of hand-gun type weapon?

You sure about that, T?

The description of the pic:

The arms manufactuers of Tion Medon's homeworld infuse their peculiar artistry on even the most martial of surfaces.

I read it as them just pointing out the makers of arms on his planet, but not necessarily that his planet makes weapons.

New one's up: Bailing Out

not too bad, just a shot of bail in speeder. meh
says something about a midair rescue.... I hope they don't mean like they did in EPII. They've done it twice already, it's getting kinda old :?

Sorry, looked passed the sticky.

Awesome picture of Bail in his speeder. He's wearing all black, sitting in the cockpit, looking behind him. Looks like he is on a landing platform.

Yep. We've heard for a while now that Bail rescues Yoda after his duel with Sidious at the Temple.

The OS has been crazy with spoiler confirmation this time around. I wonder what's with the change of heart on their part.

Can't complain, though. :)

The Wookie city that has been mentioned a lot lately from the OS is where Chewie leads Yoda to a transport of some kind. Yoda takes this to Coruscant to rendezvous with Obi-Wan.

Makes sense. I'm just wondering how big this scene is.

How many clonetroopers? How many wookiees with Yoda? And what exactly are they up against in terms of Separatist forces before the clones turn on them?

Wasn't there also some rumor about Chewie and Yoda's escape and them riding a giant dragonfly? That sounds like a loose description of those Wookiee helicopters from the Kashyyyk slide show...

I hope I don't get into trouble or condemned and ostracized by the regulars for this, but there is a way to legally get these BTH photos for you non-hyperspacers, you just have to wade through a bunch of polish here at http://holonet.pl/ From there go to the regular forums(not the english ones) and go to the BTH thread under Ep III, the caps for the pics are in English however.

Some questions I'm wondering about. When Yoda arrives at Coruscant to meet Obi Wan the clones already turned. I doubt Yoda and Obi Wan wander straight to Sidious office in order to challenge him. It gotta be a trap somewhere. Most likely the Jedi Temple where they were searching for survivors. But the place has already been raped by Anakin at this point.

Wouldn't this mean that Anakin and Obi-Wan are present at the Yoda-Sidious fight as well? I doubt Palpatine confronts Yoda without his fellow bodyguard.
Will there be the first Anakin-Obi Wan fighting? Or is Ani already off to Mustafar at this point?

The overall progress of the events seem clear I just don't get what happens when. Can somebody fill me in with the details? If there are any available, of course.

It was suggested that Obi-Wan is secretly taken into the Senate by Bail Organa.

Anakin is sent off to Mustafar.

Once Yoda and Obi-Wan return and see what Anakin has done, Kenobi is dispatched to find him. Yoda stays behind.

Why not? I think Palpatine is stronger than Yoda.

I think Palpatine is still going to be in the Temple and he either comes out after Kenobi leaves or Yoda comes upon him somewhere in the Temple.

Alot of you will probably disagree, but I'd rather not seen Yoda fight with a lightsaber..Sonic Hedgehog Yoda just didn't live up to expectations for me.

I'm assuming Sidious will be whipping out the glowstick this time, I just don't agree with that stuff..Palpatine and Yoda are better left as characters that use the force without resorting to lightsabers.

My hope Lucas decides to have Sidious just use force powers instead.

Those buzz droids appear rather lame to me. But they sound like excellent footage for the cutting room floor.

I'd rather see intense space battles mano a mano.

^ Ditto....

Wow, rolls of sellotape, paper and a metallic rod that looks lightsaber-ish.

I guess this is a piece of/part of/dislocated portions of Palps' Saber?

Since you use the old English spelling of lightsaber, would the answer be his arse? ;)

As Pabs like to point out, SW fans are awfully literal..

Perhaps "up his sleeve" simply means "hidden." You know, as in, "it's a big fuckin' secret that Palpatine is a Sith and therefore has a lightsaber, until this movie."

I'm thinking this is yet another "hey, guys, Sidious has a lightsaber and you'll probably get to see it used" hint. Though, given the inability of Star Wars fandom to take and understand even the most overt of statements in the films, the little hints they throw out just don't cut it.

New one's up and it's a winner.

Mechanical Infestation

A FINISHED POV shot of Anakin's fighter swooping in to remove the buzz droids off of Obi-Wan's ship. Several capital ships (including the Destroyer) and fighers in the upper atmosphere of Coruscant.

In honor of a certain boxed set I watched yesterday, I'll change one of Lando's lines when in comes to my impression of RotS so far.

"This deal is getting better all the time."

Looks good. :D

Battle of Naboo
Battle of Geonosis
Battle of Coruscant
Battle of Yavin
Battle of Hoth
Battle of Endor

Episode III might just take the cake, though it's gonna be tough to eclipse Yavin, for sure. We shall see.

I know it's a finished ILM shot, but geez it looks like a painting - or just digital artwork... doesn't look very "real".

I think the shot it's self is beautiful. I wouldn't harp on the realism on the shot without seeing it in motion. If you take a screenshot of any of the space battles in Return of the Jedi and compare it to that shot, I would say it's just as "real."

Also, just because it says "digital work by ILM" doesn't mean it's a FINAL shot. It's never final till May 19th. Recall that many, many shots in the AOTC trailers ended up looking much different in the final movie.

I'm not worried.

By heavily moderated they mean that off-topic and idiot posts will be pruned, and don't bother bitching if you get banned for it.

Good luck.

Because the grown ups are allowed to swear. ;)

But they're not allowed to flame each other, post rubbish or spam the joint up, so its probably "heavily moderated" in a different way than what you're use to.

Looks pretty cool.

I still hope and pray that the whole Kashyyyk thing isn't just an extended cameo for Chewbacca with absolutely no plot significance (which is what it seems like so far). :?

I wasn't a big fan of this one. It looks a little "Holiday Special" to me - but that might just be the pose. I look forward to seeing Kashyyyk more than the wookies, mostly for the reason Vanda states.
