Ewok Pudu has stated the following for the past several months

Quote:
I've been saying Revenge of the Sith for a little while now it's the only title that I know 100% was attached with the film at one point.

Surprising that he has stuck with it for that long, if it holds true, but then again, it fits so well in the big scheme of titles.

Yeah, it's nothing ultra lame or shockingly bad like Attack of the Clones, but they could've done 1000000000% better. Suck.

I said it before and I'm not tired to state it all again. It's the best title we could hope for.

Can you people please stop complaining?

Besides my brief infatuation with "The Creeping Fear" (which is, admittedly, not as good as ROTS), I've always said that as long as it had the word Sith in it, I'd be happy. The Sith need their due, and this movie is all about their takeover.

So I'm happy. :)

I like it too. I think it goes well with the Original Trilogy...

'Star Wars' Title Unveiling Wows Comic-Book Crowd

Sun Jul 25,10:15 PM ET Add Movies - Reuters to My Yahoo!

SAN DIEGO (Hollywood Reporter) - Next year's third and final installment of the "Star Wars" prequels will be called "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith," the film's producers said Saturday.

The name was unveiled Saturday for 6,500 comic-book fans at the 35th annual Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Many in the audience jumped out of their seats, thunderously screaming in joy. Some even gave one another hugs.

For the uninitiated, the evil Sith are sworn enemies of the Jedi, the saber-wielding knights whose numbers include Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker.

"Star Wars" creator George Lucas reignited the lucrative franchise in 1999 with "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace," which grossed $431 million domestically. In 2002, he released "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones," which ended up with $311 million. While both were hotly anticipated, their screenplay and acting shortcomings did underwhelm many hardcore fans.

The new film, set for release May 19, marks the return of Hayden Christensen (news) as Anakin Skywalker, a.k.a Darth Vader, and Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi.

sheep poster. I saw some shirts with this poster on Ebay.

I was at Comic Con inside the Star Wars panel when this title was announced. Over 6000 people lost their minds. People fucking love this title, and so do I.

Yep, same here. It was a cool moment.

But the funniest thing was when McCallum was asked about the romance between Anakin and Amidala in Episode 3, and he said "Who's Amidala?" :o

Ahh...memories. Reminds me of a wacky (:)) group of die hard SW Fans who huged each other and went apeshit when the end credits rolled at the AotC world premier in Munich. Still my best cinema experience ever!

Ain't it so Duster? :heavymetal:

I am truly, deeply disappointed that Lucas didn't go with some off-the-wall title that would make fans howl and scream and use words like "retarded" and "fucktard." I was so looking forward to that.

However, ROTS is still a plenty cheesy title, so it'll do.

Going back more than a month ago, when USA Today asked Lucas about the title at an AIDS benefit, it was sort of a silent confirmation:

How about Revenge of the Sith? With that, Lucas smiled knowingly, backed away and teased, "That's a possibility. Lots of titles out there ..."

Yes, the title is fake. I heard from a girl, who's dating this guy whose sister's cousin saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. :heavymetal:
