Iv'e been looking at the facial structure of Snoke and that of Ezra Bridger, could he possibly be Ezra?

We don't yet know if he will turn to the dark side and it's been hinted at in the last few episodes of rebels that he is becoming quite violent and aggressive.

And both are digital characters.

Not a bad idea. That would mean Snoke is about Luke's age, which isn't a problem. But where has he been all these years?

Snoke revealed to be the Inquisitor from Rebels first season, looks more likely.

At least visually similar and he's been confirmed as 7ft tall.

Only where are the lines running down his face ? Not to mention the Linda Blair
Exorcist eyes and the piranha teeth.

If he is the Inquisitor, is he Bionic in part ?

I thought the snoke leak was naff on first impression, but having watched the film
a couple of times. I think he's a solid emerging character.

Snoke reminds me of the creepiest thing in the Toy Story universe, Big Baby.

This theory def fits with the ages of the characters and timeline.

Ezra would almost be like the anti-Luke (who might replace Starkiller/Vader's Force Unleashed Secret Apprentice).

Lor San Tekka might even be Kanan at this point, especially since he has lived through everything. If Obi-Wan can change his name, why not Kanan. watching over Rey could be his redemptive act ala Kenobi with Baby luke.

Remember, back in 77 to 80, prior to Empire, everyone believed Vader killed Anakin and all the literature supported this.

Also, from a creative standpoint I am sure disney is going to move ahead with their own created characters instead of the Lucas/legacy characters. Rebels and also BB-8 becoming >/= to R2 would support this.

On the other hand this all might be reading into things waaaay too much ;)

Smoke being revealed to be Ezra would certainly be 'out there'... but I think the biggest thing going against that theory is that he's a digital character. Surely it would be easier just to use Serkis in makeup/costume, made to look a little like Ezra, than to have him be a digital character.

But wasn't "Kanan" a pseudonym in the first place? I thought his birth name was "Caleb," and was changed when he was a Padawan.

I can't imagine old Kanan, even if he's 90, just standing there while Kylo cuts him down.

The novelization of TFA describes Lor as a "soldier of fortune," so maybe that's all he was. An ally to Leia and the Rebellion years earlier.

http://geektyrant.com/news/andy-serkis- ... h-plagueis

EW went on to point out that there is a lot of speculation that Snoke might end up being Darth Plagueis, who was mentioned in the prequel films, but Serkis confirms that he...

“turns out to be… just Snoke.”

Serkis says that he was aware of the events in the previous films and says that his character is a new addition to the saga. Serkis goes on to explain his character:

“Supreme Leader Snoke is quite an enigmatic character, and strangely vulnerable at the same time as being quite powerful. Obviously he has a huge agenda. He has suffered a lot of damage. As I said, there is a strange vulnerability to him, which belies his true agenda, I suppose.”

Kanan is an alias, which he took after Order 66, as he was a Padawan on the run (see current issues of his comic).

I just put up two images in the TFA questions thread about snoke with side by side comparisons....
1) is comparing scars to those of vader....
2) is a progressive look at the Grand Inquisitor....
