Now that's a pleasant surprise!

Hopefully, they'll give us a version without the subtitles, though.

Rey has a full-on British accent, and is waiting for her family...

Makes me wonder if she's not at all related to any of the original cast characters. :?

I wonder if that is all new John Williams music on the trailer.

I like the TIE fighter shot against the sun. It's sort of a reverse "binary sunset" moment. Instead of looking to the sun for hope and longing for adventure, it's bringing fear and doom.

It's like poetry, it rhymes.

Judging from what we've seen in all the different trailers and teasers, I think this is at least shaping up to be the most beautiful film in the series. I love all the John Ford-style huge landscape shots on Jakku and that sunset shot of the TIE fighters is very Apocalypse Now.

Yes! This! JJ really put a lot of love into each shot. you can tell. Im also glad to see that Finn and Ray have some chemistry.

Even tho simple bits in these trailers none of the dialog sounds as cringeworthy as it did in the prequels. Cant believe that its almost here. Feels surreal esp. for an old school SW kid ( I was 5 when SW came out in 1978 in Germany :) ) since i never thought I will see an E7 at all.

This. The story could be trash and the ST completely unnecessary, but this is Oscar-level cinematography. Gorgeous landscapes and incredibly shot action.

Cinematography looks amazing and it's something that doesn't get a lot of attention in most blockbusters yet it's very important.

That shot was a total homage to AN obviously. I dont mind if they steal from the best. :) God i cant wait to find out how all of these images fit in within the story arc. So excited that JJ does not spoil it for us.

It sure is but my initial association was with that crappy "Fire birds" movie about Apache choppers :) .

Anyway, visually - a fantastic job by J.J. and co.! :chewbacca:
And with each new snippet of the movie I am more and more convinced that casting is spot on. The girl is convincing (and hot), the boy is obviously a good actor. Now let's cross our fingers for the plot and dialogue!

I thought it was Leia speaking in her posh royal voice.

Well, firstly, it's an English accent, not a 'British' one as that doesn't really exist, much the same as there's no European accent, but different kinds of them.

And I know lots of people who have different accents from their parents. Doesn't mean they're not related.

I am so stoked up for this movie now....It takes me back to the months before The Empire Strikes Back was released & all the anticipation & excitement that surrounded that.
The fact that JJ has let so little out feeds the imagination & make you wanting so much more. I think this film will blow every Star Wars fan away…

The way this movie has been kept under lock & key has been dealt with so much better than any of the prequels. They were overhyped beyond belief & that was partly their downfall.

It’s also amazing & refreshing to see so much Star Wars merchandise back in the stores, again, it takes me back to the old days when I collected all the old figures, seeing all the newly released ones stacked on the shelves looks great!

December 17th can’t come soon enough & with Rogue One set for release next year & more movies to follow….there has never been a better time to be a Star Wars fan!

still, its good to keep your expectations in check. Doing a better SW movies after the prequels isn't really hard. But doing a GOOD movie is. But I do trust in Kasdan and JJ that they know that so lets just hope the story lives up to the OT.

Agreed. I sit corrected.
