I didn't like this episode that much compared to the last couple, but there were a few interesting parts: watching Anakin go berserk over Obi-Wan's death, getting to see what Obi-Wan looks like under all that hair, the somewhat too-fantastic technology used to convert Obi-Wan's face and voice into the bounty hunter's and the prison riot where the prisoners get a hold of the guards' stun guns and stun the guards (LOL!).

A really cool episode. I love the idea of Obi-wan going undercover and being in prison. It was cool to see all the bounty hunters and criminals in this episode. Loved the prison style with the cafeteria, cells, and the recreation center. It was cool to see the debut of the Phase 2 Shock Troopers and Commander Fox again. Seems like Cad Bane knows about Obi-wan pretending to be Rako Hardeen.

Actually, I liked this episode better than the last couple. Nice to see a different kind of sory being told, and apart from how quickly we moved from Obi-Wan being tossed in jail to the breakout, pace of the first chapter was good.

Bane is in the new preview below. He certainly brings balls to the series.

I really enjoyed the seediness of this episode. Last month, I watched Temple of Doom for the first time in a while. It allowed me to reacquaint myself with Lucas’ warped sense of fun. With Doom, there’s a gross-out feast, excessive amounts of bugs, and heart ripping human sacrifices. With Deception, there’s a THX make-over for Obi-wan, a painful morphing facelift, a swallowed spider-bot, utensil shiving, alien corpse spooning, and Clones snacking while pulling duty in the crematorium. It’s not quite as audacious as Doom, but it’s along the same vein.

This storyline makes me wonder if we’re getting a four-part preview Underworld’s tone. I hope (but don’t believe) that Bane will make an appearance on that show. I suspect that Boba will supplant Bane as the baddest bounty hunter in the galaxy by the end of the Clone Wars. But, I think it be would cool for their rivalry to ultimately play out in live action. (Consequently, the show trivia from the OS states that Boba and Bane will be working together again in a future CW show.)

Yeah, I didn't mention it above. But Bane is bad-ass and adds a lot to every episode he's in.

Loved seeing Bane hold Indy's fedora in that preview. Indiana Jones versus the Furrys

I'm excited to see how dark this storyline gets by the last episode. Umbara was dark but I think it was mostly due to the atmosphere more than the overall storyline. This arc seems to be going to the deep end fast and staying there until the end.

With the exception of:

Mace: Be careful not to blow your cover.
Obi/Ben: What, like having a one-sided conversation in an open exercise area rather than smuggling this comms gear to somewhere more private?

...this might be my favourite episode of the season. I like the tone set here. Very much.

Bravo!

This was probably my favorite episode of the season. Very excited to see where this arc ends up going.

Huh, didn`t even notice Mon Mothma in the funeral scene. One thing that kinda popped out at me - is this episode subtitled `Recycled Assets-o-rama` by any chanceÉ
