Actress Natasha Richardson was hospitalized after she fell on a ski slope at a Quebec resort, a resort spokeswoman said in a statement Tuesday. Richardson, 45, has appeared in many television, film and stage roles, including the movies "Nell" and "The Parent Trap." She won a Tony award in 1998 for her performance as Sally Bowles in "Cabaret." She is married to actor Liam Neeson (Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Batman Begins) and is the daughter of legendary actress Vanessa Redgrave.

So sad and tragic

It was just such a strange way to die. She seemed okay according to everybody there.

It just shows that you really can't take any chances with head injuries. You got to get checked out no matter how you feel.
