Now in the StarWars.com video player: A never before released animatic of a Revenge of the Sith deleted scene.

The script originally had a scene in which Obi-Wan Kenobi ventures into the dragon pens of Utapau to find a mount to explore the sinkhole city. He chooses the most gregarious of the lizards, Boga. The scene never made it far past the animatic stage.

In this early cut, Ben Burtt provides the voiceover for Kenobi and the aliens, and Boga's gender is different from the final.

That's an unexpected treat from sw.com but cool nonetheless, they should have been releasing stuff like this a long time ago. I hope they continue release more scenes, it doesn't matter if they are unfinished or in animatic form to me. I would really like to see more deleted stuff from AOTC.

Hopefully this means that they're going to publicize the rest of hyperspace soon.

It's quite a shitty scene in my opinion, in "video game" form or not.

I wish we could have seen more of the Order 66 stuff. I never really liked the Boga.

I'm actually glad to see that a scene with that kind of slapstick comedy didn't get finished and put into the final film.
It was cool to see Obi Wan checking out the teeth of the creature, like someone would check the teeth on a horse :)

Still though, it's cool that starwars.com is sharing this type of stuff to give people some insight into the animatic process and as far as animatics go, that one was pretty detailed!
