SideShowToys just updated with a Kit Fisto preview. Looks alright something odd in the colour of the garments, though.

Has anyone heard anything about Hasbro releasing anymore 12" figures from Revenge of the Sith? I have been waiting to see an Obi-Wan be released but, alas, no such luck.

Supposedly Hasbro is done with the 12 inch figures since Sideshow is the one producing them now.

They've made Jedi Luke, Ep3 Ani, Ep3 Obi, and Bespin Han.

Jesus. Why can't anyone capture SLJ's likeness well?

While the Sideshow 12" figures of a high quality (although Mace Windu does look a bit like a gremlin) the Hasbro line was nice because their figures didn't cost $200+ per figure.

I hope you're wrong FireB, but that would suck if it were true.

Sideshow's 12" figures cost around $50 each on average, not $200 (you might be getting confused by their 1/4 scale Premium Format statues). If you compare what Hasbro did and what SS is doing now, it is more than worth the extra $30.

Here's rebelscum's toyfair coverage. More shots of all the 12inch figures:

Yeah, that Mace was a little scary, not my favorite character. These shots of them look pretty good, but I haven't chosen to order any of them yet (maybe I'll order one they haven't announced yet eventually).

I guess Maul would be likely to start off the line of Sith, but who knows. They've said they're not gonna do Chewbacca until they can do it in a way that does justice to the character.

While the greatest of the Jedi were wise and keen of mind, in the days of the Clone Wars, it is the fighting strength of the Order that is most often called upon to defend the Republic. In the many sieges and battles that are being waged across the Galaxy, individual Jedi distinguish themselves as warriors and generals, leading their clone troops into battle tirelessly and without fear. Among these great Knights of the Republic is Kit Fisto, an amphibious Nautolan from Glee Anselm.

Fisto is a master of Form 1 lightsaber technique, the style of fighting that is taught to all Jedi initiates as the basis of their saber training, but perfected by only a handful of masters. Kit's skill with a blade is matched by his sharp senses. As a Nautolan, the Jedi Knight was born with an array of twitching head tentacles that are naturally sensitive to faint odours, such as the subtle pheromones given off by all living things. Augmented by his Jedi training, Fisto's chemical sensitivity is acute enough to pick up on the minute changes brought on by mood change in other beings. It is an edge that has granted him an uncanny ability to read the intentions of adversaries and foes, either across a negotiating table, or in the heat of battle. Underwater, a Nautolan's natural habitat, this sense is even more acute.

Knowing of Kit Fisto's aquatic strengths, the Jedi Order sends him to the pelagic world of Mon Calamari to prevent the Quarren Isolation League from tearing the planet out of the Republic. Fisto leads a combined Mon Calamari and aquatic Clone Trooper force to victory, cementing his reputation as one of the most formidable Jedi Knights of the Clone Wars.

I'm eagerly awaiting this one. Could give a damn about the rest of the Sideshow line, but I just couldn't pass on the 12" Kit. Bonus points for sculpting it based on the superior RotS makeup and not AotC.
