Princess Leia as Jabba's Slave Statue

Princess Leia participated in Luke's plan to free the captured Han Solo from the clutches of the vile gangster, Jabba the Hutt. She posed as Boushh and freed Solo from his carbonite imprisonment. Her identity was revealed, and for a time, she had to endure the humiliation of being made one of Jabba's slaves. She repaid the gangster, however, by strangling the Hutt with the very chain that bound her.[hr]Limited Edition: TBD

Just preordered this. The price is definitely steep, but the statue's damn nice. It goes without saying this will be a popular seller.

Do they have any rear view shots from behind? :o

Just recently I got the Anakin Vader Reveal from Gentle Giant. In the past I have purchased two statues from the local Comic Ships one of which was a Weapon-X statue (Wolverine in the snow with a bloody bear-wolf's head) under the $120 range, so I am open to spending over the $100 mark.

Some of the newer high-end Star Wars collectibles prices are geting out of hand. I would like to get a Master Repica's Vader Helmet and the Sideshow Grievous. :(

Cover it up? :o

I always thought Ms. Fisher had the most underapreciated fanny in Hollywood throughout the 80's. She got down to some loepard print panties in The Man With One Red Shoe and nobody seemed to notice except me and Tom Hanks. It would be a shame to cover it up on this statue. Besides, it's not like it's obscene, or shown in a way unbefitting the characters portrayal on film.

I absolutely detest this move, quite frankly. Not only is it a poor censorship choice (this is an adult collectible), but it's also lame considering perverted Star Wars fans already pre-ordered this thing expecting something a lot more sexy. Fuck LFL. Leia in the bikini is something from my adolescence that means a lot to me. The original statue was totally sexed out and really tapped into my most personal of fantasies. I know there are people who know what I'm talking about. It's still a great statue, but what a bad move. R.I.P. Ass Statue.

I know that at Comic Con the statue was on a rotating base. But it was only rotating on day one. After that it remained in a fixed, face forward position. LFL was there, but so was Carrie Fisher. I wonder who requested the change?

I was under the impression that Carrie requested the change. and would not sign off on the prototype one (at the convention) until it was covered, however I don't have the article that led me to that conclusion, so perhaps I'm mistaken.
