Granted, I'm assuming a few things, but this feels like another wasted opportunity.

How can Raveers, one of the MVPs of this board, get his hands on so much unofficially released SW music for AOTC and ROTS, and yet Sony Classical can't seem to bring itself to do the same, while (presumably) having access to all of the original files/tapes?

I would have to assume that if this package included the COMPLETE scores of AOTC and ROTS, it would have said so in the press release. Instead, we're left to assume that this is all stuff we've gotten before.

I have no faith that Sony Classical can match a release that approaches the work Raveers has done on this board for many years. I'm perfectly content with my SW music collection, as put together by Raveers - enough to skip purchasing any versions of this set.

These are the same releases we've gotten before? I echo royalguard's sentiment - these are far from "ultimate" then.

Reading the link again, it does look like it's regurgitated from past releases. It doesn't even look like it's going to have the complete 2-disc set of TPM. :?
