Fascinating article. Downloading the video now. I'll prolly chime in again once I've seen it. In the meanwhile, it's important to acknowledge Lucas for the "maverick" (funny how that word has been overused in the past twelve months) he is in the film industry. Say what you will about his propensity to milk a cash cow for all its worth, but the man redefined filmmaking at least twice (the premieres of both Star Wars trilogies).

This actually pretty awesome. The interview takes place in a desert-like setting which adds to the film.

In case the link goes bad I downloaded it just in case a mirror is needed.

Wow! Thank you so much OP!!! :yay: I have been wanting to see Lucas' "6-18-67" for such a long time and I finally got to watch it tucked into this wonderful interview! Folks, this is the only place I have been able to find this short film, check it out guys! Now if only someone could find Lucas' documentary about making "The Rain People" called "Filmmaker"...anyone?
