Fan Force Portugal had an interview with Randy Stradley (editor for Dark Horse) on the future of comics in Star Wars. Link is below: fanforcept.blogspot.com ffpt-interviews-randy-stradley.html Looks like Dark Times and Rebellion may die a prematurely. |

It's unfortunate that those two (arguably the better of the current lineup) will take a backseat to the Clone Wars marketing push. Interest in Vector has fizzled out due to delayed releases and ordinary storytelling... I'd like to see Dark Horse return to limited mini-series as opposed to over-arcing ongoing issues. |

Agreed, it's sad, though you'd think, being their first crossover arc, that they'd have planned this out better. |

Huh? Dark Horse's "monthly" books have always been on a 5- or 6-week schedule. The first part of Vector was in stores (according to Dark Horse's website) on January 30, so the third part is like what, two weeks late? We're not talking Civil War here. Anyone who can't wait a week or two would likely have "fizzled out" sooner or later anyway. I dunno, I only buy comics once a month or even less frequently, so I guess lateness is not really something I care about. And I already read all the Star Wars comics anyway, so Vector didn't affect my buying patterns one way or the other. |
