Many fans and enthusiasts have been speculating that Star Wars would appear on either HD DVD or Blu-ray Disc in celebration of the 30th year anniversary of Star Wars, which is this year. Looking at the past history of Star Wars releases, many claim that George Lucas has a track record for cautiously and slowly adopting new formats. After all, the original Star Wars trilogy took quite a long time to appear on the DVD format. But it could all be different for the next generation, blue laser DVD formats. Right now, Amazon.com has product pages up for BOTH the Star Wars trilogies in the Blu-ray Disc format. Nice. Why only IV - VI? So Lucas is going to release IV - VI on Blu-ray, then years later he'll release IV-VI Blu-ray Special Edition, then a few years later release I - III on Blu-ray, then release the I - VI Blu-ray box set with bonus disc, then to release the box-set without bonus disc. |

Some asshole posted some pretty good looking fakes online. Check them out. http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=26667 He confirmed that he printed the images and put them in blu-ray cases. What an asshole. And my friend is an asshole for sending the pictures to me and telling me they are real. Just wanted to make you guys aware, just in case he or those pictures find their way here and someone tries pulling the same shit. |
