I was listening to the Return Of The Jedi (2004 SE) soundtrack and noticed a good deal of the score sounds garbled (maybe not the right word). I mean, like extremely shitty at points. I never noticed this on the Anthology set. Anybody know what the deal is with this? |

Its basically because the 1997 SE release of JEDI's score had a terrible mix. The 2004 set is exactly the same as the 1997. The anthology release has much better sound quality. If you are ever over at www.jwfan.net, they are still pretty pissed about it still today. You can find notes on how to create your own release by combining the best parts of the anthology with the unreleased material from the 97 release. |

Thanks for the info. I knew something wasn't right with the quality of the music. |

Are one of the cues you're talking about specifically the space battle music right after Palpatine gets killed? That always stuck out horriblly to me. |

Yeah, the Endor battle tracks especially sound like you're listening to them underwater or something. |
