You seem to be forgetting his immortal line in ESB:

"Beep boop bwip bip booooooo..."

I think Luke should have been listening harder, as should have you.

Artoo takes a blaster bolt to the head for Luke! What more do you want?

Oh, go easy on the guy. With all he's been through, he's become a bit eccetric. Ever left your computer on for a week? Multiply that by about a hundred (astromechs aren't built by microsoft or apple--had to adjust) and you get a good idea about how wacko that grese can is by now. :)

Was 3po the only one that got his memory erased after Ep. III? I can't remember the line before he says "oh no" :(

Yes, Bail Organa says "...and have the protocol driod's memory wiped." He never says anything about R2-D2.

Now why they (the characters, not the writers) didn't think to wipe the astromech's memory is beyond me. It's routine to clean 'em out every few months or they develop a few difficulties with other droids......

If you read the Novelisation of ep III. It craps on about R2's ability to be retain and give out information unless really coaxed to produce it. It was part of his special modifications by anakin or some tripe...

I can't watch yoda die anymore it is too sad...

yeah, seeing Yoda die in jedi after all he's been through was painful. Especially since it was infront of Luke and it was perfectly done. Lucas himself could not come up with a better way for Yoda to die if he had the chance to redo Jedi. heartbreaking. notice his last word was "Skywalker"?

--I also was laughing the other day at R2 reminding 3P0 about the comlink in Ep. 4 i thought it was great since R2 has had a sort of close call while using one before. made me smile.
