Hi guys. I have been playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the past week or so and have noticed that almost every note of ROTS (the music that doesn't appear on the soundtrack cd) is contained in the game when you're playing it. Does anyone know how to extract the music tracks from the game files?

Any help would be appreciated.

I know there is a way, but I need to look into it.

To give you an idea of what's there, here is what I've heard so far.

- The music when Obi Wan gets attacked by the buzz droids.

- The music from the scene where Obi Wan says goodbye to Anakin on Coruscant right up to the point he goes into hyperspace on his way to Utapau.

- Obi wan's arrival on Utapau and his conversation with Tion Meddon.

- The music from the duel when Anakin and Obi Wan are fighting on the pipe while being watched by the little floating droid.

- The music that comes in when the Tantive IV takes off from Coruscant.

- Not from ROTS, but when you play as Yoda, the music from his duel with Dooku in AOTC plays in its entirety.

There is lots more, but I can't think of them right now.

I have most of the game's music. I'll put it up in the filesharing forum.

Well, it's not every note. There's still various pieces of music that is still unreleased. But with the music on this game, Galaxies and the OST, you can edit together as close to a complete score as you're gonna get without an official release. I haven't started editing mine yet (still working on TPM) but it's great that there's all this material available.

Yeah, I'm already working on tracks. I've finished The Opening Battle, After Order 66, Goodbye Old Friend, and Arrival at Utapau.
