Will there be another trailer before march? Is this teaser long enough at 1:40 to satisfy fans until the full length trailer? I think by the end of November there were 3 trailers for AOTC, but Breathing hardly counted due to its length and content. I think maybe we'll see something else, but probably not until around January...then the final trailer in March as expected.

What do you guys think?

I think there will be 2 more Teaser Trailers in the timeframe between November and December like there was for Attack Of The Clones and 2 Theatrical Trailers in March or April.

I'm thinking that since this trailer's much more substantial than the Breathing trailer we've got a much longer wait until the next one than we did for AOTC. This is both a good and a bad thing. It means we'll have less footage to get worked up over, but it also means we'll have less footage to get worked up over. However many trailers there are betweeen now and March, there'll still be a surfeit of footage from adverts and tv spots and the like in late April and early May.

If this is the Anakin/Obi-Wam trailer, I'd like to see the Leia/Padme Trailer, and the the Jedi/Sith trailer. :)

This teaser is great, but it's not full new material. It's really only 1 minute of Revenge of the Sith. When you get down to it, the first Attack of the Clones Teasers were as substantial as this one. This one was just so much better that it felt more substantial. I am expecting there to be another one. I'm too lazy to look it up, but at the official site they said "teasers." Well anyways, I hope we get more before March. Perhaps when the DVD sales start to dwindle they will offer a DVD exclusive.

In a perfect world we would get this teaser, a Hyperspace only teaser, a DVD teaser, and then the trailer in March.

The trailers for Attack of the Clones were named. Was this one named? If it wasn't it could be a clue that they don't plan to give us anymore anytime soon.

I hope the next one isn't as terrible as the "Forbidden Love" trailer. When I saw the opening I thought it was a parody for a good few seconds until I realized actors were in it.

The Forbidden Love trailer was half bad and half good. First half was cringeworthy, and the second half was a pretty great series of shots, I thought.

I agree, I cringed the whole first half...most awkward way to open a trailer.

I'm HOPING the OT DVDs have a trailer around january....that would be good since it's two months apart from the teaser and the final trailer in March....but who knows.

When I showed my younger sister the trailer, her first question was about baby Luke and Leia. In this first trailer there weren't any body shots of Padme to show that she was pregnant, but we know, the general audience doesn't. So in at least one of the trailers LFL should establish that Padme is pregnant for the general public.

I'm sure we'll get more teasers and I look forward to the one that shows us finished GG.

I don't really like that idea,no offense.

The next trailer should focus 100% on Revenge Of The Sith footage and dialogue and not waste another microsecond on old footage and dialogue. It is a complete waste of precious time.

I thought the Alec Guinness thing was a pretty great idea for the teaser trailer. I don't understand why it's a waste of time... 'waste of time' is a big bit of SW fan terminology for arrangement of a trailer. A trailer isn't there to squeeze in as much new film footage as possible for us hardcore fans, it's there to advertise the film to the general public as a whole. This teaser did will be seen by millions of people and all but maybe 20% of those will require a bit of a reminder about what it is this film's primarily about. Alec did a good job of providing that reminder. In conclusion, a micro-second of trailer time that isn't spent showing ROTS footage is not a waste of time. To me this trailer was much more interesting than AOTC's efforts because of the ANH footage. I thought it was wholly appropriate.

ditto, efc...the Alec Guiness dialogue gave the whole trailer an epic feel, contexualizing EP III nicely.....did a much better job at it as any number of shots from the final movie would do.

But surely you'd rather have an entire trailer of shots from the movie, instead of an Alec Guiness talking?

We'll get that in the other trailers...obviously 2 minutes of new footage would be great, but the Episode 3 teaser, as said above, served more to tie the trilogies together - one of the key aspects to the film itself. The teaser is a setup for the marketing campaign...and this trailer did a great job of capturing what's important to THIS movie.

There were twice as many shots in this 'teaser' than there were in the Breathing trailer....just because it wasn't complete with Episode 3 material doesnt mean it isnt effective...and I'm sure we'll get more footage before the march trailer anyways....

The other thing that the Alec Guiness speech/ANH footage did with this trailer is to give it the "old school" feel that the prequels have been missing. It serves as a reminder that this will be the episode that ties up the PT with the OT. And we know that most (if not all) of the people preffer the OT.

Well, `we` don't `know` tgat at all...just because whining sheep on forums can't seem to realise these are just movies doesn't mean the general populace who have some sense just watch 'em and move on, not thinking a director `raped` their childhood !

Point taken... I just meant it in a general sense.
And regarding the sheep... I also get tired of reading the complaint of "Lucas raped my childhood" line in numerous threads... :what:

there´ll be several trailers, definitively. especially those tv-trailers like in the campaign for E2. we´ll not have to wait too long for them. to make sure that their immense costs for this movie are covered they will initiate a large campaign. since they din´t even have any scruple to rape the last bit of reason of their fans with that sith-hulking out-yellow-eyes-with-red-rim-story, I´m ready for everything.

No,deffenetly not. If lucas think that he can get away with just one Teaser Trailer this year, then he must be mental.

Well i dont think we will see another trailer untill march, but i hope so. on the other hand,we have been told that december will be a good month for HyperSpace members so there might be a second trailer before newyear.

It would be nice to get another trailer this month, but I don't think it will happen. You would think that now that LFL has a pay service they would release one specifically for Hyper$pace members.

At this time for AOTC, we had gotten 3 trailers, and the teaser for TPM had more footage and dialogue.

At the very least, Pablo could drops some hints about what we should expect in the future. And update his damn Ask Pabawan thread!

Okay, I can see that my previous post reads like a whiny sheep bitch.

I just wrote another one detailing my problems with recent Hyperspace content but that sounded pretty much the same so I deleted it. Besides, its all been said before.

Now back to the subject at hand...

Here's hoping to another trailer before Christmas. :)

Hyperspace members deserve some perks...if the DVD buyers got a bonus trailer last time, I think hyperspace members deserve one.

The first trailer was amazing, but, and although this doesn't take away from the butt kicking intensity of the first trailer, there was little new footage. Only thirty seconds or so. They could definitely afford to put out another teaser.

Deffenetly.....we (the HS members) deserve a second teaser trailer :heavymetal: :heavymetal2:

It was deffenetly amazing but like you said, there wasnt enough Revenge Of The Sith footage.

I'd expect the interegnum trailer be around the same length but made up solely of episode 3 content...dialogue and all.

Oh, another thing to keep in mind.

The Breathing Trailer for EII...like this trailer, when it first came out, I assumed it was the teaser and there wouldn't be any more...then, bam, two more teasers, mystery and forbidden love.

Personally, Breathing Trailer and the EIII one are my faves thus far, despite the fact they show so little. They are the most effective at really getting you hyped.

The OS needs to update more about ANYTHING concerning episode 3. I don't see how it's worth paying for material when it's a rarity something comes along, and when there is, most people complain that it's nothing special. HS is alot of fucken money. I don't understand how fans haven't openly campaigned against it.

Peter Jackson is much more frequent with updates...

That's because it is publicity for just another film. Hyperspace is about making the website profitable. Different goals. I'm not defending it. That's just the explanation. Star Wars sells itself.

I've got no complaints about the HS webdocs. However, Peter Jackson is totally spoiling us (in the conventional sense) with his videos at kongisking.net. I'm not actually interested in being spoiled for King Kong - the original is one of my favorite movies - but I can't stay away from those videos.

The OS has been a little stingy so far w/ Episode III coverage. It's all very very repetitive. It wouldn't concern me if I wouldn't spending money on it.

It's only repetitive cause a lot of the stuff that they're showing already leaked out here or on one of those lesser fansites.

Nah, that's not even what I mean. I mean how the same things we saw in the set diaries are the same things we see in the BTH are the same things we see in the WebDoc.

The only logical explanation I can come to is that we've seen all the sets, and theres really not much more to show us that isn't 100% CG and all bluescreen, and thus not worth showing.
