I had to quote that. I'm completely fucking bamboozled beyond belief.

You are joking, right?
Tell me you were joking...
If not, what world are you living in?
Really man. What you said is just fucking preposterous.

See, you can spit all that rhetoric full of nice little figures and statistics all you like, but you're still walking around with your head up your shit-box.

Well, I guess we can talk about this again in 50 years. Then we'll know which side was right. Based on the progress that's been made in the past 3 years, I'm sticking with Bush. At least he has a vision for winning this war, as opposed to the "Monday morning quarterbacks" which currently lead the Democratic Party.

And to what Fatboy said regarding the use of the phrase "War on Terror," I completely agree. You can't fight a war against terrorism. However, this is what the current conflict has been dubbed, so that's what I'm calling it.

For the record, just because I agree with Bush on the War on Terror, it doesn't mean I think I have some sort of moral superiority over the rest of you.

I'm pro-choice, pro-stem cell research, and pro-environment. I don't care if gays marry, or if people swear or fuck on TV. I think marijuana should be legal, and I don't believe in God.

I am fiscally conservative, and believe that the size and role of the government should be smaller. I believe the rich are not obligated to pay for everyone else. I like corporations. I like guns. I think the main priorities for our government should be national defense and creating the means for people to control their own lives, as opposed to dependency on the government to run their lives for them.

That's why I identify myself as a Republican and that's why I support the President. Because when it comes down to it, the role of the federal government is much more important than whether a woman can have an abortion or a gay person can be married.

So call me ignorant if you want, but remember that my side currently controls the White House, the Congress, the Supreme Court, and a majority of the State Governorships and Legislatures. Keep crying Democrats. You are just about officially irrelevant. :whatevaho:

Not even fucking CLOSE. If we injected most TFN asshats with the same kind of mind serum that gave Charlie some IQ points in "Flowers for Algernon" they STILL wouldn't even get within sniffing distance of the arguments in this thread.

The closest is this "hipnotik" kid, I guess. And Komad, of course.

Yeah that last paragraph was over the top, but it gets frustrating debating this stuff sometimes when everyone is not as level headed as you are. ;)

As far as Bush and spending, I agree. Federal spending is getting out of control. I want to see the deficit reduced and hope that Bush sticks to his plan to cut it in half by 2009. But just because I support him, it doesn't mean I agree with his spending. And last time I checked, the Democrats aren't offering a viable alternative.

When it comes down to it though, there is little that can be done to reduce the size of the federal government. Politicians refuse to cut things because no matter what you cut, someone will be pissed off. That's why the role the federal government plays is so important. Bush might be backing some big government programs, but those programs are designed to help people manage their lives as opposed to managing them for them. The Ownership Society and Social Security reform are good examples of this. The government does not need to pay for my retirement. I can take care of that myself. However, if they can create a private account where I can manage my own retirement, I'm happy. Bush's Social Security reform is a small step in this direction, but that's a whole other discussion.

some people(whomever made that pic) just have way too much time on their hands.
I give points for effort though.

You could have just used the thumbnail option.

Hmmm, thats what I was looking for but I still don't see it, only thing I can find is describing what I did anyways...

Oh ya, I fully agree on the to much time thing, but my initial thoughts on the pic was that they had way to many close up pics of anus's at their disposal....
