Ok so I said my reviews is coming so here it is. I’ll break this into the Good, Bad and Ugly sections.

The Ugly
-I cringed at the kiss. It shouldn’t have been in the movie.
-Some of the acting don’t match up due to the reshoots.
-Palpy’s glowing eyes felt too CGI like they weren’t that bright glowing in the other six films.

The Good
-Badu Frik was a wonderful treat to see. I loved how he interacted with the cast and the other two droids. I enjoyed the fact that he later joined the Resistance, Kids will love him.
-Sith eyed C-3P0. It’s interesting that he knew how to translate the Sith language, Maybe something Anakin added then later blocked him from translating the language?
-I can buy into the whole Sith Dagger thing (the Dagger of Morris.)
-Lando returning and in a scene that’s a callback to ROTJ.
-Luke actually helping Rey for a change.
-The flashback of ROTJ Luke training Young Leia. This was a treat to see.
-An older Wicket was interesting to see.
-Revisiting the Lars Homestead was fun to see. You get to see what happened to the land since the end of ANH and see the actual weather damage to it.

The Bad
The entire search to find Exogel was a mess. It’s like this... “find item X to get Y then you have to use Y to go to Z.” Too much padding.
-Rose’s role feels almost neutered. I’m guessing this came from Disney.
-The ground battle on the command Star Destroyer felt ridiculous to me.
-Healing force powers was dumb to begin with.
-Ben Solo’s redemption arc felt gutted to me. There was no real motivation for him to turn back.
-The Force ghosts looks out of place. Luke reminds me of Creepy Hayden from ROTJ.
-The ending with the planets feels gutted... it’s like you can tell some planets were excluded from the celebrations judging from the bad edits.
-Rey isn’t a real Skywalker but you can tell that this scene was supposed to turn out different judging from how Rey looks at the Skywalker Twins... like there was a family bond and connection there.

That said, it’s a decent film with a LOT of problems. I think the JJ/Lucas cut would help fix a lot of the problems.

Now, it’s time for me to retire from Star Wars as a whole. I just feel that Disney has screwed with us fans far too long. So, it’s time for me to sign out here. I will always go back to rewatch Episodes I-VI this time as a casual viewer. So long, everyone.. it’s been a fun ride.

Hey, Ki Adi Moonshine... keep in contact, huh? I’ll be around to read stuff from time to time but... my posting days are over.

To echo George Lucas at 1:04:30:
