Lando is not there.

Emotional resonance completely neutered unless Artoo gets 70% of his attention and Chewie 25%. The rest don't amount to deserving more than 5%.

And you do realize that Lando never really cared about 3P0? In fact, in ESB, Lando ignores 3P0 completely after Han tells Lando, "No, there's no droid trouble." And in ROTJ, Lando never had any single interaction with 3P0 not even during the Battle of Endor. If anything, 3P0 had way more interaction with the Skywalkers (Anakin and his two children,) R2-D2 and almost all of the ST characters (Poe, Rey, BB-8, and Finn) combined than Lando Calrissian.

That whole trailer is a mis-direct.

I think the entire movie is one big fucking spoiler.

Scenes intercut, voice-overs not matching what's on screen...that whole 3PO scene...don't even get me started on "Palpatine".
