Guess the trailer is coming next week (likely before GMA since it'll tie into the TLJ premiere on Saturday the 9th).

I can't imagine they would run a Solo trailer before TLJ comes out. Maybe with TLJ or sometime during its run, but not before. People in general get confused enough as it is.

Not if they establish in the trailer that this is a younger Han Solo.

There were people who actually thought Rogue One was going to be Episode 8, even though Lucasfilm/Disney promoted the living shit out of it.

I know. My own brother fell victim to that. I've never been more ashamed of my kin.

This movie should be held back till December.

Instead, they will release it the same month as The Avengers: Infinity War Part One.

Got to love those geniuses at Disney.

To sum it up, unless u take time to read the article, Disney wants Avengers and Star Wars in the same month so they can have momentum to be #1 all summer and because Christmas 2018 already has Mary Poppins Returns, a sequel to what is arguably Disney's crowning achievement over it's well-aged 55 years that they'd rather take their time on than something like Solo.

Potentially two billion + movies being released in May.

Yep Disney are clearly out of their minds.

Trust me when I say nobody will give a fuck about Mary Poppins Returns.

The people who would be interested in that don't go the movies anymore. They will wait for home video.

Something like Solo?

I guarantee that even if it is a piece of shit, Solo will make a lot more than Mary Poppins Returns.

Fairly certain people wanting to see both will. It's not like they're going to sacrifice watching one for the other.
