I think he means he was actually in the costume in that shot. Bulloch was unavailable and Morton was allegedly given the chance to don the armour and stand in as Boba for a couple of days. It is believed the footage shot with Morton was used for the "he's no good to me dead" shot.

What a difference between Dak and Wedge. The latter turned out bored by the prospect of Star Wars: Episode VII - Another Big Paycheck and the former seems like an absolute die-hard who, for someone not even affiliated with the show, talks about Star Wars Rebels as if he works on the damn thing.

Yes, I have been re-watching a lot of episodes lately. But, wouldn't some type of direct line from the TV show make sense? After all, Lucas was heavily involved with the TCW at same time he was fleshing out the sequel episodes.
