So big potential spoilers. Apparently Disney Infinity may have revealed something else with Ren-Rey dialogue.

FREEZUS- from the script

Rey OPENS THE BOX and sees inside Luke Skywalker's original

lightsaber. With hesitation, she reaches towards it, but

she cannot resist. As her hand makes contact with it, there

is the piercing sound of a lightsaber igniting. She moves

her hand away, as REY HEARS A MECHANICAL BREATHING sound.

The CAMERA MOVES, LIGHTING CHANGES -- and we see behind her

something impossible: a HALLWAY OF FROM DEEP INSIDE CLOUD

CITY. Disembodied voices fill the air.

EDIT: The script also drives home the point that Luke does know Rey and that she is his daughter.

You just said you wouldn't believe until you saw it. I hear it so I wasn't that worried. Just thought you'd want some confirmation.

I agree about Rey. Ages match up so that ten might not know she exists.

I didn't say I flat out denied what they wrote in the script, in fact my post was in reference to you saying that it doesn't sound well, mechanical on the Blu-Rays. Well, the script confirmed that it IS mechanical in nature.

Like I said, Disney/Lucasfilm didn't transcribe the movie - Most likely it came down to either Sony who produced these special glasses or Regal Theatres. Whoever transcribed it wasn't very good likely due to either too much stuff was going on or that the movie was moving too fast at that time. But yeah the script confirms it.

The only reason I suggest it may have been Boba is that there is a Mandalorian flag outside her castle. But why would it have been entrusted to her all this time?

(and I don't mean to derail the thread if anyone finds this off topic.. just curious)

The shooting schedule details a lot of what was planned for the saber backstory but I'm guessing all of it was cut to streamline the story.
