Te-rri-fic , I was thrilled from A to Z :chewbacca:

Hondo? Badass.
Ahsoka? Total Badass.

The way Hondo touches Ahsoka's face and lips at the very end was very cool. As this is supposed to be the kid's friendly arc and yet they throw these little touches in - with a few grim moments too. Did not see the cliffhanger coming, another unexpected twist involving Ahsoka.

The younglings were cool and sometimes remind me of Season 1's Ahsoka,. The droid was an excellent character in many ways Badass No. 3. Also I want to point out the whole ship interior screaming good old Star Wars.

Season 5 has started very well for my taste, and now I'm surprised, this is surely my fave so far. Sso many star wars references and a perfectly handled pirate adventure. (No need to mention the animation anymore at this point.) I often find myself thinking: great writers + great voice actors - win :heavymetal:

Bring on Grievous!

Cool episode, actually this whole arc has been quite enjoyable, but all my focus has been on the Sequel Trilogy this past 11 days.

oh and one more thing, that music when the pirates arrived and started walking around inside the ship... straight from Indiana Jones or something...
real good

I'm really digging this arc.

Really liked the droid lightsaber expert. I loved how he pulled a more successful Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. And the hatch detachment/vacuum scene was great. I liked the design of the corridors on the ship and that particularly brightly lit section near where the hatch detached was strangely ethereal. But there was one brief traveling shot of the pirates tumbling through the halls of the ship that struck me as just flat-out beautiful.

Great episode and a nice cliffhanger to boot!

Yep, being a big Monty fan I couldn't help but laugh at that scene.
The whole episode had a lot of throwbacks at the original trilogy, it was really solid overall. I love this season's beginning more than the previous one. It's not as epic, but seems to be more thought-out.

Pretty cool that Doctor Who (David Tennant) was the voice of the Architect droid. :heavymetal:
