I didn't like this episode nearly as much as the last one. It wrapped things up a bit too neatly. And I thought there were far more enslaved Togrutans than were shown. I mean, they kidnapped an entire city, but they only show like 30 Togrutans escaping from the Kadavo slave-training facility at the finale. WTF to that.

The visuals were spectacular, though. No doubts there. Especially the destruction of the facility at the end.

That is pretty common in this series since the numbers will cost too much money and requires a lot of work to put a lot of people on screen. We all seen how short and small the air and space battles are. I mean, during arcs like Geonosis, Umbara, etc showed a planetary invasion, but the amount of clones and droids present on screen makes it look like the planet is either small or both sides didn't actually have a lot of troops despite how many starships they showed.

In all, I would love to see the battles, invasions, and what not on a grand scale, but the production is too much and what we have so far is okay in my book.

We see a lot of transports at the end, I assume they were picking up slaves elsewhere.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is turning villian!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars launches a four-episode arc January 13 that finds the legendary Jedi knight going undercover as an evil marksman from the planet Concord Dawn. He'll infiltrate the Republic prison to gain information about a Separatist plot and, while there, he will mix it up with a cadre of vicious bounty hunters including cult faves like Cad Bane, Bossk, and Boba

Fett. "Embedding himself in this group is a pretty awful risk for Obi-wan." says supervising director Dave Filoni. "It'll cause conflict between him and Anakin Skywalker, the kind that will test their relationship. How well do they really know one another? How much do they truly trust each other?"

Among the highlights is an awesome obstacle-course tournament in which the inmates, including Obi-wan, must prove their badassness and fight each other for survival. And teases Filoni, "There just may be a prison break!"

Episode S0414: A Friend In Need

Separatist Lux Bonteri, last seen in Season Three’s ’Heroes on Both Sides,’ renounces Dooku and the Separatists, but where do his loyalties lie now?

Episode S0415: Deception

When the Jedi learn of a Separatist plot to kidnap Chancellor Palpatine, Obi-Wan is sent to a Republic prison disguised as a convict to extract information from the conspirator. While inside, Obi-Wan discovers that Cad Bane has been enlisted and they must work together if they are to escape.

Episode S0416: Friends And Enemies

Fleeing across the galaxy, a disguised Obi-Wan, Cad Bane, and Morallo Eval are wanted fugitives pursued by Anakin and Ahsoka. Bane and Kenobi work together to evade the relentless pursuit from Anakin but it is Obi-Wan who must confront his former apprentice and do so without blowing his cover.

I think the episode was great. Crowd problems aside, the pacing and story were really well made. I like the new ships, especially the new Zygerrian fighters - they were based on the original concept of Palpatine's shuttle, right? I don't have the sketchbook here with me but from what I can remember it was that one.

Yes, it's on the trivia page of the episode.

easily the best episode of the season- they took some chances- had balls... I would guess this was as a result of george being preoccupied with red tails, so he let the crew make some creative choices on their own. This crew is so talented, its such a shame they are held back so often... great episode.

What situation are you referring to exactly? From what I've observed George actually enjoys seeing other people getting their ideas realized and prefers to input a couple of his own ideas rather than block anything someone else has come up with.

Also, the script for this episode must have been finished and approved a long time ago.

The title of this episode sounds like a song Astrud Gilberto would sing.
